I watched S2 more than 1 but had to give up when the most in love couple kept divorcing/separting/remarrying. I mean I can only suspend my belief so much...!!

I stll keep expecting Naitik to pop up somewhere....somehow....don't think he was killed off ....

Naitik's disappearance is most mysterious na specially when he was the ML and then suddenly he vanishes in thin air. 🤣

.there is logical reason behind this kind of decision. Actors who played young character in the series don't want to continue for decade for a same show as it will not give them growth.so thats why whenever leaps happens they always end up the character like this.so the actor can go anywhere and work again with fresh story ,as young character.its difficult to maintain the character till the end. I totally agree with u but storywise it looks so unfair like zindagi bhar achhe karma karo but end mein aise dardnaak maut. I know they show such death sequences for trps but it's unfair with the characters.

Bold - par ye log aisa karte kyu hai? Why can't the kids grow up with their parents for once? Why suffer the trauma of losing your parents? Matlab happy childhood is not a thing only kya?

They can change the actors for Akshu and Abhi, bring in older actors and continue the show with the 4th generation

The thing is viewers are used to watching actors playing certain characters that they can't accept new actors playing the same roles. In this show after Naitik-Akshara, fans accepted Kartik-Naira as main leads. After Kartik-Naira they even accepted Abhimanyu-Akshara as main leads. But I highly doubt if Harshad or Pranali quit the show after many years they will accept other actors as Abhimanyu or Akshara. It's a major risk for the show makers hence they think killing off old characters is a safer and better option.
