Did you guys maintain a long distance relationship when you went to California?

We were in touch. Occasional mails, but very few talks. I was studying medicine and it was very tough. He took electrical engg. That consumed lot hard work. But we updated each other if there is something important. Like when I first entered for anatomy lab. How scary the experience was. We both loved KStew. I got few pictures of her from film shoot and used to send him. Like this only. After 2 years or so our parents decided in our favour. Then only our talks became more frequent.

It also depends on how she tells the stories, sometimes she makes even the simple incidents really dramatic by the way she narrates them...😆

I agree. Her way of story telling is hilarious. She would make a good funny newspaper article writer.

For diabetics like me it's problematic. May be because of that the enzyme which metabolize alcohol never functions properly and alcohol can't be broken down. It remains in system and as long as it's not flushed completely you have symptoms. That's pathetic. Alcohol is a big no for me.

I promised myself agar mera break up ho gaya to mein complete alcoholic ban jaaungi 😉😂

Maybe try this. Non alcoholic

Was it a casual convo like "sup? haha. nice weather today..." or something dramatic like "I love you. Did you hear me? Why won't you say anything? Wow, your silence is deafening but it has given me all the answers I wanted. Message received loud and clear. Have a nice life.."

LMFAO. 😂 No, nothing that dramatic. My mate lived one street away and I begged/threatened him to go for a jog. I was having a must-get-fit phase but needed someone to join me because I refused to suffer alone. I was at the end of the street facing the opposite side of the road, waiting for him to walk through when I thought I saw him standing there. I don’t remember exactly what I said line for line because my memory is fuzzy and this was close to 8-9 years ago, but it was similar to this:

I called out his name (let’s call him Bob) “Bob” and there was no response. I was like “Bob, I can see you standing there, stop trying to bitch out of this.” Silence. I got frustrated and started walking across the road while yelling “Why aren’t you talking back. Why are you standing there quietly like a freak? Are you trying to scare me”. That’s when I realised as I got closer that it was a tree.

Not long after the actual Bob arrived and I was dumb enough to tell him what happened. When I tell you that he NEVER let me hear the end of it, I mean he literally told everyone at Uni what I did and I soon became the butt of so many blind and tree hugging jokes. We couldn’t even go for that jog because he was wheezing from laughter.

Ghosting isn't always due to lack of interest though. i recently apologized to someone for ghosting cuz i had every intention to meet him but for some reason, I got super nervous and suddenly stopped answering him after he gave me his number. So, last week, I told him oh life got in the way, etc. and he was super nice and told me that I can bug him whenever I feel like life is back to normal. how kind of him but I don't know when I'll muster up that courage to actually meet him.
