* It doesn't make sense for the villagers to slūtshame Satyakam's wife— their sole leader/protector's wife. Imlie, being not actually related to SK, is fair meat.

P.S. My God, narcissism is genetically coded into all the Tripathis. Dev should sue then for mentally disabling both his daughters. Narmada and Arpita are über rich women, why are they wasting time in watching TV at the Ts? Is it the 80s with only one TV set available at that one obnoxious bougie neighbour's house per locality? Get the hell out of there, women!

I didn’t think of it this way but it def makes sense now that you mention it!

There are only two ways to a new beginning from here:

- Either they're force married (but this would mean going back to the hurt and pain plus unnecessary drama between AryLie – and we know that these two can have their own dramatic moments without a marriage)

- Them standing up against the villagers and the way Aryan defends her as well as himself, with his words and actions, and gets them out of that situation, will change her perspective of him, really shift it and she'll start seeing him in a new light – one that possibly makes her think that there are more men in the world deserving of her attention apart from her Babusaheb.

I'm looking forward to the second one, because that's the better way to reverse the track rather than having the force marriage and give Imlie a better experience this time. Imlie is already being treated well by the Rathores so that won't really change due to a forced marriage. Imlie is not a stranger to them and neither are the Rahore ladies, or even Aryan, averse to the idea of Imlie marrying Aryan.

Thoughts?

Dude also about imlie's PoV of religious marriage >>> legal/social from y'day discussion...

And she needs something to fill that relationship void created after her divorce otherwise her bs jaap will never end.

I would hate to see her married to him and continue her BS jhaap. But also how would her BS jhaap end?

OPINION PIECE🙋‍♀️

Finally saw the episode, will catch up with thread later since it's moving at record speed!!!

My heart goes to the Meethi-Aryan interaction ❤️

Let's start this episode review by saying - Bye Bye Malini 👋💁‍♀️ see you later alligator!

Now for the FUN part!

1) Meethi-Imlie: I had mixed feelings with this scene, yes she was trying to console her and stop her from doing whatever she may be thinking of doing but I was not very impressed with this scene. First of all the conversation was weird tbh. "The world is a terrible place and will take away everything but can't take away your faith/trust" 😒😑. Sorry I facepalmed myself at that moment 🤦‍♀️.

- I don't know why she keeps telling her to have faith in their relationship. Like how is this going to help her? Do you want her to become a rakhail (mistress) and stay with Aditya for ever, be insulted and humiliated by Malini and her mother, be treated like a naukrani and naani to aditya and be his personal bodyguard and put her life on the line every time he goes into a dangerous journalism mission?

Yes he is missing, yes she loves him but woman you saw first hand how she was treated and yet you want her to go back to that hell hole. Like WTF???😡

- Then her dialogue of "Keep bishwas and that your and Aditya relationship was based on biswas"- I was huh , really since when, am I watching the correct show here? again I facepalmed myself 🤦‍♀️. I was really hoping Imlie would remember her own words from the day she divorced Aditya- where she herself said to Aditya that you never trusted and you only trusted Malini. But that scene never came and so I facepalmed myself again 🤦‍♀️.

SO IN SHORT MEETHI IS CONFUSED AF* (IMO) AND THIS IS NOT THE REAL MEETHI BUT SOMEONE ELSE FROM AN ALTERNATE UNIVERSE WHERE IMLIE-AKT LIFE IS ALL JOLLY GOOD🤣

2) Aryan-Meethi: Okay I think there are two meethi's roaming around PD, let's keep the sensible one and immediately find the other send her to the alternate universe😆we don't need another Aparna🤦‍♀️.

This was a cute scene. Meethi seeing the goodness in Aru's heart was mind-blowing. Very glad to have gotten this scene.

- Meethi's line "Aap ee ka haath nahi lagayiye, aapke haath gande ho jayiye, ee bohut chota kaam hu" and Aru's response "Kisi ka pett bharna chota kaam thodi na hain" - Loved this so much ❤️

- With just this scene, the makers showed so much contrast between how the so-called rich Chaturvedi's treated her vs how the even more rich person is treating her. My Aru is such a kind hearted, sweet and respectful man ❤️.

- We also find out how much Imlie has mentioned about him to her. Wah Imliya todha todha- at slower than snail pace hi sahi- kisi aur ke baare main bol toh rahi hain tu 🤧

- Aru's admiration for Imlie was like a love letter that he was reading out to Meethi. Zara dheere se beta warna dil toots ho jayega😭

3) Imlie - Aryan:

- One good thing that came from their interactions today is that she called him her friend twice -that made me laugh 😆, 🤔when did he say he was your friend bey. Yeh toh zabardasti Aru ko friend banane main lagi hui hain. Aur waha Aru usko kuch aur banana chahata hain 😆☺️.

Aisa lag raha hain ki main "YEH RISHTA KYA KEHLATA HAIN" dekh rahi hoon 😆.

- Another good thing that came out of their malham patti scene was that she noticed what he has done for her and that it affects her a lot when he does the opposite. 🥰

4) Imlie: No words about her BS jaap nonsense 😤. Officially washing my hands off her until she stops calling out BS every other second.

She keeps yelling at My Man Aru 🤬. Tread lightly woman other wise the entire Aru FD will come after you with danda's and talwar's before the villagers get to yousmiley7!

https://tenor.com/7jMN.gif

5) Aryan: Today I felt really bad for Aru 😭

- The first tear drop scene made me think OMG OMG OMG OMG 😲WHATTTTTTT? Already?

I don't know if any of guys think the same way but that scene was intense. I had a few things going in my head with that sad tear wala scene: The tear was 1) because he could understand Imlie's pain about loosing someone, 2) because he was sad that Imlie was thinking about BS and she was hurting because of AKT and 3) most importantly it was also because she was only concerned about BS and not him.

- Aru remembering his mom was the sweetest scene today. Aru is a true gem and cares for his family and their safety.

Makers really showed a great comparison btwn him and AKT who doesn't give a rats ass about what & how his family is doing and that he should inform them about his whereabouts and his safety.

6) AKT and his flying body:

- What in the world is AKT doing all the way in the jungle/down a valley? Yeh directly udd ke jungle main jaa gira🤷‍♀️ kaise bey? What sorcery is this?

Maybe all the Marvel characters have decided to enter the Imlieland.. now we have Dr. Strange who came in and summoned a portal during the bomb attack and sent AKT into the PD jungle 🤦‍♀️.

https://tenor.com/6arf.gif

I think he tried sending him elsewhere but this is what happened 👇‍ and so he just sent him to the jungle

7) PD ppl:

- Oye yeh log kahi bhi phoch jaate hain? Kaisa pata chala inhe ki andar Imlie aur Aru hain bey?

Manifesting 🖖‍

- Bahut jyada pitayi nahi hogi kal

- Aru will not get hurt protecting Imlie

- Imlie will not bhadkaw on the PD ppl

- Imlie and Aru will not fight them together like Mr. & Mrs. Smith

- Meethi will not yell at Imlie for only caring about BS and not Aru.

- Meethi will not tell Imlie that Aru was sick and he still came with you and protected you

- Imlie will find BS tmw

- Imlie and Aru will return to Delhi with a younger version of BS

ALSO, MOST IMP THING TO NOTE THE RED SUIT HAS LANDED IN ANUPAMA !!!!

Wasting my ration of posts here, but they brought up the "nafrat" slip-up too soon. Imlie was about to smash his jaw. That just gives me the impression that they are leading up to some sort of marriage with Imlie blaming him for stealing her from BS-jiju.

In the coming days, the angst will be generated by her accusations + her emotional cheating with BS-jiju + her actual faith in the sanctity of sindoor + her attraction to Aru. So even if she doesn't acknowledge the marriage and tries to go back to BS-jiju, her sindoor and Aditya's jealousy will stop her in minute ways.

She thinks of her marriage with Aditya as marzi of seeta maiiya ---- religious marriage

So a legal divorce is hardly gonna deter her bs jaap --- as we've seen, she keeps taunting malini and can't help nannying bs even though he's now legally married to M

But if she herself is married to another man, going behind bs will be like cheating her own husband which is against her character (they can't afford to show that also) regardless wo uss rishtey ko maaney ya nahi...

Check my post on pg 4 where I posted @bluegrass thoughts on this and my comments as well.

As much as we want the #2 sarc... The medium of Itv isn't for that....

It'd make a very good best selling romance novel but not a prime time high trp drama....

Also imlie just doesn't have social conditioning but religious conditioning as well... Her first marriage only ended legally not religiously, there's no way to end a marriage religiously except another marriage 🤷🤷🤷
