I don't know where to start about the update.
I mean, I am honestly not sure where the serial is heading. I guess, Anuj will be shown as a perfect son, a perfect father - everything Vanraj is not. But, the way the makers are showing it, it's too mentally exhausting to be honest actually and frankly speaking boring according to me.
I initially used to love Anupamaa, they had such wonderful tracks. Pakhi getting teased by a boy, kinjal facing dholakia etc. But now the show has become a saas bahu serial types. Pati, new patni and the ex patni and the ex ka boyfriend and the ex ka boyfriend's sister is friendly with the pati.
Omg !! What craziness..
Its too much of mental torture. I really wanted to see Anu grow in her business, but I guess if they would show that track too fast - it kinda would end the show and this Mukku track has given them enough fodder for good 6-8 months.
Add in sanan wedding, kinjal pregnancy, pakhi boyfriend etc and this show can easily run for atleast 1.5 years before Anu confession and the hotel sequence.
Anyway, I was surprised for a person who would get so scared with Anuj's slight anger is siding a man who broke things in front of her... Too many loop holes for me.
I don't know if this track is gonna work or not, but ita getting pretty boring for me atleast.
Anyway, that's the end of my rant !
Please keep all the fan fictions coming, it gives me some oxytocin to bear the toxicity of vanika and Vanya...

Btw I don't think Samar was saying anything wrong. Thats my pov but he was not defending vanraj. He was clearly miffed with kavya for spoiling their makar sankranti. And tbh, i don't expect him to sympathise with kavya because anu ki suffering ki zimmedar wo hai. Upar se, kavya wants to suffer in her relationship with v but advises nandini otherwise.
