Because that’s not the real reason why people are blocked. If that was the real reason, they could just ignore the posts like most of us do when we don’t wish to engage with someone.

The feature is being abused cuz the blocker can totally go through all your posts, and report them one by one just cuz they can.. while they themselves can keep flooding you with notifications.
