Have you ever hated anyone with a passion?

I don't mean hating someone in your personal life but rather a celebrity you truly, truly cannot stand. Have you ever hated someone so much that just a sight of them was enough to get you like the gif below?

I used to despise Alia with a passion but am neutral towards her these days, and I have no idea how that remarkable turnaround came about to be.

It could be cuz I have been avoiding her interviews and sticking to watching her only in movies, and movies alone. She isn't that bad but the overexposure and KJo's stupid promotion tactics didn't give people a chance to assess her objectively without all that pukeworthy annoyance, I think.

So, have you ever hated a celeb and bashed them every chance you get only to have a sudden change of heart later on?

Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt. Although it is disgust rather than hate. Both are loathsome insects. And I don't anticipate it changing.

I cannot stand Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt and I don’t think I can ever warm upto them😅

Kangana and I wanted her to vanish off the face if the earth. But then one day I realized which each new statement she makes she just gives me more reasons to poke fun. It’s like a gift that keeps on giving 😆

Major confession time. I used to hate Aishwarya Rai with every fibre of my soul from the time span of 7-12 years old. This is because I used to have a crush on Salman Khan (WTF) and so badly wanted him to marry Sonali Bendre. When I found out he fell in love with Aishwarya instead, I started to hate the very ground she walked upon. I even used to say that her feet smells (How I was close enough to sniff her feet is beyond me). Then one day I watched Sholon Si and I remember my jaw dropping from how incredible she looked. I basically had a delayed reaction to her beauty but boy did it hit me hard. I now adore her and her smelly feet. 😆

Everyone else that I’ve hated has remained steady. I’ve been in a hate relationship with Kareena, Abhishek, Chandrachur, Tusshar Kapoor and Vivek Oberoi for a while. I hated Katrina as well once upon a time but now I’m neutral about her. I began to hate Salman once his accident and personal stories began to come out. So his case is the opposite, from love to hate.

I used to adore Salman after watching MPK and HDDCS and then he went into a crazy tailspin and turned into this gunda of the industry everyone feared. I don't fault you cuz my feminism kicked in much later in the game too. I couldn't understand why she couldn't forgive him and they had all these Tere Naam songs playing on repeat with Salman shedding tears (for Aishwarya) on all those desi news channels my mom used to watch, my bleeding heart could only take so much. >.< Thank god I grew out of that.

At this point I'm wondering if you're me or if I'm you? How do we have such similar childhoods? We even crushed on the same celebrity over 20 years ago. 🤣 I feel you. My kick of feminism was very delayed as well and it cant be blamed. I mean what can you expect from two little girls? Growing up watching Disney and all that fairy-tale nonsense had me in la la land of eternal love and happily-ever-afters. It took a lot of growing up to face reality and it wasn't a pretty wake up call. Better late than never.

I swear, I've never had that kind of reaction towards any living person. My jaw actually dropped and I became aware that I had a pool of drool swimming in my mouth. It hit me like a thousand suns. Basically love at 100th sight. 😆 I then re-watched her movies and started to look at her from a new perspective. I've never looked back since then.

P.S. I also didn't like her pairing with Sanjay. He looked like her seedy uncle in the movie. I so wanted her to run away with Zayed Khan. They had way more chemistry even though he's such a shit actor. LOL
