Salman still proved with movies like Bajrangi Bhaijaan that he can deliver solid performances. That movie would have sucked if his acting was as lackluster and expressionless as Katrina's. I'm not expecting award worthy performances from Katrina but at least something would be good

Katrina is as good or bad an actor as salman..if he has bajrangi she has zero/bharat/ZNMD/MBKD..not award worthy performances..barely average you can say but then neither was Bajrangi an award winning act

when it comes to bad..salman dared to be bad even under SLB's direction..he literally single handedly ruined the climax of HDDCS with his comical overacting..

Katrina sucked in Zero, Bharat and in ZNMD she barely had a role..(never watched MBKD). The only reason she got praise for Zero was because Anushka (the female lead) delivered an atrocious performance which somehow made Katrina look ok in comparison.

Also Katrina dared to be bad under Yash Chopra's direction, have you forgotten JTHJ? She ruined the whole movie with her shitty acting and showed that she was the worst Yash Chopra heroine by far. Every scene where she had to act emotional turned out to be a joke. At least Salman just sucked in one scene (which was silly no doubt) in HDDCS

I never said Bajrangi was an award winning act but it was easily better than any Katrina performance. Salman also delivered solid performances in Sultan, Tere Naam etc. Overall he is a medicore actor but at least he is sometimes not garbage like Katrina

Its definitely an achievement but it also shows how low the standards in Bollywood are. She became one of the top actresses despite having zero acting skills and can't even speak Hindi fluently (better now but she sucked for many years).

Katrina is popular - nobody is saying she's the Sridevi/Madhuri of this generation. Her standing in Bollywood history is somewhat unprecedented... although I'd compare it to Madhubala - limited actress, yet luminous on screen. Or maybe even Hema Malini - an overhyped actress who was beautiful and popular.

Katrina winning this internet poll for popularity is more likeMandakini winning a random Cineblitz poll in 1986, rather than Smita Patil receiving a National Award.
