yeah you're right...sometimes im scared to even post about him cuz i dont want to be accused of a being a Vanraj pacifist. i prefer characters with different shades. i like to see growth. i hate these shows where everyone is alloted into their roles (i.e. the vamp/villain), it comes off as fake and cartoonish. irl no one is bad 24/7. you made a good point about realization and wanting things/people back. i think that is where his character is gonna go. maybe not now but at some point. in terms of why he is like this...fear of parents i guess? he made a great point the other day when he said that we glorify sacrifice in this culture
I totally understand. Talking about many many dimensions gives us also the chance to think through the aspects and layers of human nature and what possibilities they might have or had based on situations. No one is born bad. Situations, surroundings make them so. But the ITV stories turn the characters also so evil that you are made to think that they are this way or they can never change. Writers dont have that mindset to show things with actual reality and fiction mixed. They somewhere loose the plots or character acrs.
