Did anyone else see those wanted posters? Imlie had barely broken out of jail and yet her face was already plastered everywhere on wanted posters.

GM is an awesome actor but at present Adi is not a good character. I understand that shipping a pair for a year and not getting the happy ending for it is very frustrating but the charater went down slowly and now it is toxic. So I hope, they stop badmouthing Aryan's character for the sake of it and point out the things that actually need improvement.

She just accepted what was forced on her and accepted it wholeheartedly as Sita Maiyyas blessing .If something bad is forced on us by humans knowingly will we think that as an act of god. Accidents and diseases and all we think sometimes as an act of destiny or god even if it’s bad but that’s not done intentionally. But we don’t think as such

for rape and murder . For the latter we react strongly and won’t think it as an act of god . Here it was made to believe so 1) Marriage is considered as a auspicious thing 2) Her social conditioning and upbringing 3) Adi was not real bad I mean he didn’t utilise Imlie and all which doesn’t mean Imlie would never ever have fallen in love if these things wouldn’t have happened .

Imlie was stupid enough to continue this relation for lifetime without Adis cooperation, such was her devotion to this institution of marriage , maybe she was born out of wedlock , meethi might have instilled these deep thoughts in her little mind . And as a serial they need to show progressive thinking instead of this 19 year old girls beliefs . Meethi had reason to believe so still she got married to SK but Imlie doesn’t have any reasons . Through proper education, counselling and company of good natured people like Narmada , Arpita Imlie also can overcome her so called silly belief and it needs to bcause it’s not surely a great thing to boast of . Reality is Imlie is quite aloof from the truth of the nature and society . She has not seen real world . Only people she was acquainted to was either Chatur or Tripathis both not sensible in their own ways . She doesn’t have a friend or have seen any normal young couple or pair . Belief is one thing and truth is another . Sometimes both are same and sometimes both are contrast . In Imlies case it’s second . In Imlies case she believed Adi as SM wish for her while truth is it was Villagers wish . May be Aryan is SM wish for her which she is now failing to see and may see later . I always thought this show will head through this phase bcause Imlie would never ever be happy in her life with Adi with or without Malini becoming negative . If Malini was positive itself then also Imlie will always have this inner conscious telling her that she is the reason for Adi Malini break up . And it’s right tooo till some extend . Marriages are meant to be happy , adventurous emotional tumultuous ride with ups and downs not like sitting under Damocles sword . With Adi it was always like that and the worst part is in this marriage Adis contribution is minimal. No hero qualities he have .

Now when all bonds and shackles are broken and her so called forced marriage also has become null and void due to Adis narcissistic behaviour she has become the earlier Imlie now who was lively , free and was never sealed married . Whether she will marry or not marry depends on her present wishes or situations not on her so called beliefs or conditioning .

TBH I never liked the way Aditya's character was shown from the get-go, yeah he was the lead but he was definitely narcissistic like you mentioned (reminded me of Narcissistic personality disorder--> dude needs some behavioral therapy for this). In addition, there was always this reckless behavior on his part and not thinking things through beforehand and then crying about it later on. To top it off everyone in his family were also a bunch of nincompoops who kept boasting his ego which made it very hard to watch the show. The biggest turn off was Bigamy that was shown.

Coming to Imlie, (like many have mentioned throughout our n # of DT's) she is young and being forced into a marriage, and then having to move to the city from a small village was not easy for sure. Now since she lived with Aditya and his family, they became like the ideal family to her outside of her home in PD and she started to look at the world through their perspective. She adopted their thoughts, ideas, actions, feelings, and outlook on society (however toxic they were) and began to develop her life around that base. Essentially the 18-year-old girl who is like a pile of clay at that age was being molded into a pitcher (mitti ka gada), whose sole purpose was to hold water and nothing else. With that being said, this newly molded pitcher, however, also had an uneven and weak base and on top of it, through Aditya's & his family's words and actions, many holes were being made in that pitcher so that water that she tried to hold kept escaping. They tried to patch those holes but no amount of patchwork can fix the damage done and the pitcher will eventually break and it did. And let's be honest I am glad that it did 😏.

Now that Imlie is no longer bound by forced marriage and societal pressure, has so much potential to grow. This time though she will be molded not into a pitcher but into a sculpture by strong hands, being ASR, Narmada, and Arpita. She will be a sculpture with a strong base & foundation and will demonstrate various ideas, will break the societal norms, and will be like a model to other women who may have suffered as she did.

I don't know if that makes any sense 🤔🙄 Haha kinda was writing this and working that the same time

So Ace, what is an Ace, a playing card with a single spot on it, ranked as the highest card in its suit. Also Ace means an individual who is unusually good at something. Aditya is the Ace here, the best in his field, something that he has immense pride in, solid credo, a supportive and loving family, clingy girlfriend. All set in his life. Gets coerced into a marriage to save his life, and the downhill in his personal life begins, which he tries to salvage by redeeming himself and this marriage, but it even goes further downhill from there due to his personality issues. A man who is so good at investigating and writing does not investigate his wife's claims, his wife's presence with another man, and writes an obituary signifying the death of their relationship without solid evidence to support it. The Ace burning signifies that although everything is seemingly fine externally, the man is internally up in flames, sabotaging everything he is touching and burning it down along with him, even the prized career he oh so was proud of at one point in time. He is burning, but the flames are not subsiding, because it won't be the end of his burning.

Phoenix is a mythological bird, that burns in its own fire and turns into ash, only to emerge alive and energized to repeat another life cycle. Aryan is that phoenix. The cute, childish, kiddish, lazy, sweet, and warm Aryan died in the flames that burnt his BIL and family alive. He emerged from the ashes of that fire and emerged as Aryan Singh Rathod, to be the cold, stoic, calculative, suave, debonair, and edgy businessman that he is today, with the purity of his heart intact.

Hats off to ur writing and analytical prowess . I am a huge fan of your writing . Always on point and crisp . Have read ur thoughts in mhrw forum also . That show had everything in it to be a success but makers just spoiled everything so badly that they even juggled btw the genre of the show . Once intense passionate before marriage was turned into comic , brainless , and what not . Atleast Gul doesn’t meddle with genre eventhough she has her own faults like vamps will never get exposed etc etc but she always try to build and maintain the angst btw leads . Anyways I am not a fan of Gul also but still compared to Sandip she seems better . Gul has that power to create couple that can string our emotions so hard and she maintains to keep that pull and urge in us to much extend through her slow burns , angst etc . Rest all PH start with all the hype but fail to maintain that grip in their leads with respect to intensity and passion .
