Part 2

"Kati patango ko thamenge,rishte pankho ko hawa denge"

Both of them woke up to the songs being played loudly in the loudspeakers, uttrayans are very noisy, how can people not get deaf while they fly kites standing beside the loudspeaker; Raavi shifted her gaze from her face hidden in crook of his neck, to his face, he had just stretched his eyes open, she lifted her face and gazed at how cute did her bhoothnath looked while being sleepy, she booped her nose and ruffled his hair, to which he tightened his hold on her waist, she tried to get up on which he pulled her near, and watched her face crept a smile,his heart fluttered on it, everytime she smiled,his heart expanded a little more. She pulled herself back saying, "aaj toh tu dekh, mai Jeet jaungi aur tu haar jaayega" with a smirk, he sat up with a jolt, and added, "Pakka jeetegi?Sochke abhi bhi,agar mai jeeta na toh fir jo mai bolunga voh karna padega" with an evil smile, she pouted as she replied, "Aur mai jeeti toh?", "Tohhhhhh.....tab ka tab sochenge chal ab", he stood up and hurried, to which she hastily said, "arreee rukkkk", they kept bickering as they got ready.

They went to store with Suman to inaugurate the udhyog yet again, and as they all stood in a line, Suman was given the scissors to cut the ribbon,but instead she gave it to Raavi which denied but then agreed to take it hesitantly, as she took the scissors, instead of going straight up and cutting it, she went into the righ corner where Shiva was standing, she gently held his palm and made him come to the centre held the other hand and made him also take the scissors, and they cut the ribbon, together.

After taking Suman's blessings and initiating the orders and billing, they bowed down to their baba and went to Somnath temple to take blessings of lord Shiva.

On returning home, they all went to the terrace, to finally start the Most fun tradition of the festival,kite flying,Shiva and Raavi have been in a bump fight of who's been champion in kite flying, and things didn't change even after marriage,atleast in case of the particular festival, uttrayan for which they would keep challenging themselves whole year in who'll win and who'll loose.

Krish started playing songs,the sky was already looking gorgeous,filled with colorful kites,which were enhancing its beauty with varied bright colors as the golden rays of sun beamed warmth in the atmosphere,with chilly winter wind flow with grumbling voices.

Shiva took a yellow colored kite,yellow being her favourite,whereas Raavi took a black colored kite, both of them started flying it; one after the other they were cutting all the kites which tangled with their kites, somehow both of their kites although being parallel in skies didn't tangle,maybe they were waiting to cut of all the kites around them to get cutted off,just like in a relationship they needed to solve the external problems to reach the core, internal problems.

Everything was chaotic,loud DJs, people hooting and shouting to each other on cutting kites, sounds of laughters, children blowing horns and songs being played.Shiva glanced at Raavi who's focus was on her kite,she was looking up in the sky and moving the threads to save her kite and cut the others, in the process she pulled the thread roughly, resulting her finger to get cut, Shiva handed his kite to krish and rushed to her, he grabbed her finger and blowed air and sucked the blood, she hissed in pain as he said, "tu dhyan nahi rakhsakti apna andhi hai kya?jab dekho kuch na kuch lagta rehta hai tujhe...phoolkumari hai kya?", To which she chuckled as she said, "haan hoon phoolkumari voh kya haina sab Teri tarah chattan pandya nahi hote na", he rolled his eyes and said, "zyada zabaan mat chala kaat dunga", she narrowed her eyes and said, "kya zabaan ya patang?", He got it that she was teasing him, he said, "apna taanpura bandh kar aur patang pe focus kar,badi aai chipkali kahiki" and went back to his kite.

After almost cutting all the kites, finally their kites tangled with eachother's kites, they both pulled the thread and loosened it(dheel), eventually, both the kites get cut together on which Krish announces, "Arre re yeh toh kaand kardiya tum dono ne toh ab toh confusion hogyaa, ma ab kese pata chalega ki kon jeeta, Shiva ya Raavi bhabhi?", Shiva and Raavi watched him confused, Suman told Krish something in his ears, to which he grinned and said, "Aapne race toh bohot kheli hogi pan ab ek race hogi, jo bhi patang ko sabse pehle leke aaya,vahi jeetega.", As if both of them were ever ready hastily started running, Shiva was fast, Raavi thought of something and fell and faked a cry, Shiva looked back and came to her and bent down saying, "Aey phoolkumari ab kya hua tujhe?Tu abhi bazaar chalna chashme dila deta hu tujhe", as he said this she took his hand for support pulled him down and stood up and started running, he widened his eyes in shock, he shouted, "Aey gadhedi tu rookk!!!!", She looked back chuckling saying, "Aey Bhoothnath pakad ke toh dikha!", Shiva stood up and started running behind her she was about to get there when he grabbed her arm and turned around in haste, she collided with him, making them trip,he held her waist and she held his shirt tightly, their eyes met for a moment, but their trance broke on hearing people hooting, they stood up straightening their clothes and again started going towards the kite, as they reached,they both held the kite at the same time, to which Dev whistled, Krish announced that again they had a tie and hence,both of them won this year,together.

Together with family they sent rest of the day, as both of them wound up cleaning the kitchen Raavi went and sat on the swing, Shiva had been thinking to show her the neem tree where he came when he wanted space,away from everyone,away from chaos, but as now she was a part of him,he wanted to show her the place but didn't knew how to ask her or tell, he remembered once in their childhood Raavi had won the kite competition and she had been given a box of ice cream cake and candies, which she shared with him because she was feeling guilty that she had cheated then, he stared her for a while and then came sat beside her silently, she looked upto him, she gazed him, and said, "Shiva kahin chale?", Shiva raised a brow asking, "Abhi?Kahan jaana hai abhi tujhe?Raat hui toh chudail ko ser pe leke jaun?", She hit him slightly on arms and said, "Voh...voh ice cream khane chale?", He smiled on this,almost blushed on how she was still the same,like she was years back,she was again having guilt of pulling him down and faking a fall, he thought to let her say that, so he added, "Ice cream khane?Itni thand mein?tera upar ka maala khali tha voh to pata tha par tere senses bhi nahi kaam karte yeh aaj pata chala", she rolled her eyes and said, "Chalna Shiva pleaseee", he sighed, and got up.

"Chal" he said, she got up with her biggest smile, to which he said, "Nautanki" as a little smile crept his face.Grabbing his shirt, they went out. They started walking together, it was an awkward silence, the crickets chirping was the only sound, it was getting awkward as for them, all the roads, all the lanes, all the surroundings had witnessed their fights and bickers all these years, now seeing them walk in peace, stealing glances from eachother was shocking for even nature.

Their hands brushed against eachother making Shiva concious, he took his hand back, she remembered the times of haveli,when they had walked back to the out house after his 'team wala gunda' rescued her.He again put his hand back out of the pocket, which Raavi noticed from corner of her eyes,she immediately grabbed his hand; it was the first time she had given her hand, he went back into nostalgia remembering the day of marriage when he had gave her hand which she had pushed away and then held the edge of his sherwani on wrist, how far they've reached in their relationship, they've literally travelled a big roller coaster.

As they reached to the ice cream-wala, he indicated her to select the one which he wanted, and she nodded in no saying, "Hum dono ke liye tu decide kar" with a little smile, Shiva had no idea, but his heart did filled up, no one in his family had ever asked him what he liked,what he preferred,though Gaumbi and his bhabhima had always brought them chocolates,ice cream a seldom times during their birthdays or special days but choices?No one till now had asked him on what was his choice,till now his choice had been everything his family liked, he simply replied, "Jo tu choose karegi vahi meri Choice samajhle,mujhe sab chalega", she hissed and said, "Chalana hi toh nahi hai Shiva,aaj tak tune choose nahi kiya na kabhi apne liye,toh aaj kar,humare liye", she tightened her grip on his palm, assuring him. He chose coconut mawa ice cream, her face crept a smile as she loved that, and it was surprising that she had never mentioned it in front of him, was that a case that they sub-conciously had same choices?She had noticed it that when it came to their families, though they've not directly pampered or grown up under their parents,but they loved their guardians unconditionally; and why would they not, although they were kids,they had seen their families struggle, they've seen family fueds,it's regrets,rage and pain.

Shiva asked, "Tu thak na gai ho toh mai tujhe ek jagah pe le jaun?", her face crept a smile, just like a kid who had asked if he wanted to go for a ride,she nodded in yes, he took her hand and started walking towards a neem tree,a shiver did ran through her body with fear due to darkness,but she knew that as long as she was with him, she can be fearless,he would protect her always.Breaking the silence Shiva said, "tujhe ped pe chadhna aata hai?", She didn't understand his question and asked him back, "Tu ne mujhe bandariya samjha hai?", And he chuckled as he said, "isme samajhna kya hai,shaadi teri bandar se hui hai bandariya toh tu automatically hai" she pouted, and he was indeed right she thought to herself,she said, "Pan hum chadh ke karenge kya", to which he said, "jab mujhe kuch samaj nahi aata,mai yahan aata hu aur yeh jagah mere alawa kisiko nahi pata, aur yeh bhi nahi pata ke mai yahan aajata hoon" he said, her eyes filled up with tears,her heart did a somersault,so overwhelmed that it would burst if he said anything more.She held his hand as he made her climb the tree, he followed her and they sat on a hug bark, she sighed relaxing herself,to which Shiva said, "yeh mami jesi bhi hai isne paala tujhe ekdum phoolkumari ki tarah hai" to which she just smiled.She was curious and hence she asked, "Shiva agar yeh jagah tera secret getaway hai toh tune mujhe iske baare mein kyun bataya?" To which he hesitated but later replied saying, "tu apne mein aati haina isiliye", she argued back instantly saying, "apne toh gharwale bhi hai par tune unko nahi bataya,fir mere mein esi konsi baat hai?", to which he smiled and said, "kyuki tu meri dobi hai".

Okayyy so it's done,after a super busy day I had to write it or else kaagaz & binny would murder me by midnight,lol.
