I fastfwd major portions of it. In between saw V had flashes of him mistreating Anu but not sure what expression was on his face was after that🙄 also I think V’s dialogue of mard badalna was not there.. not sure because I skipped thru.

Anu speaks with family thru video call.

Kavya has left a voicemail and went somewhere for peace and V doesn’t care.

Next day Mukku wakes up and Anu says Anuj went somewhere.

Precap- new year party. Then V plans to go to office to meet some guy. Anuj too joins him. Anu worries that nothing goes wrong.

Honestly I’m glad it wasn’t as bad as I was fearing. I really appreciate that Anupamaa actually talked about the emotional abuse aspect and the need to go see a doctor etc. I can imagine that being a positive message for masse viewers of the show. Especially those who aren’t so familiar with these things.

That being said… as much as I’m GLAD Vanraj sort of realises his own behaviour - shown through the flashbacks - it’s not NEARLY enough. If they are doing this whole redemption thing, not that I like it, but if they are, he needs to actually directly take responsibility and specifically apologise for his actions.

Also, tbh Anuj has sort of annoyed me a bit these past few episodes. I know what is saying is for the audience, more than Anupamaa’s character, but it does come off a bit like mansplaining. Like… stop telling the woman who overcame this stuff that it’s a problmen. And then it needs to be addressed. She knows. Most women know. *sigh* but then again… maybe some audience members will receive the message better from a male character. I dunno. Even that’s a lot for ITV I guess…

In conclusion… Better than expected, but still frustrating AF
