Anupama learns about Malvika’s horrifying Past .

As Anu tries to comfort terrified Mukku , as she gets panic attack n resists Anu’s touch , she starts weeping n recollecting hiw she was beaten n tortured by her abusive husband . Mukku locks herself in her room. Anu n Anuj try to persuade Mukku to open the door .

Anu n Anuj together try to persuade Mukku to stop panicking , Anuj assures he would always love n support her .

At shah house all family members play tambola and have fun n masti . Baa wins the first round . They all wait for Anu Anuj . Mama ji suggests they p,at another round of Tambola until Anu reaches . Pakhi n Samar miss their mummy . Samar finds Anuj not responding his mobile and Pakhi is disappointed Mummy not replying hers . Vanraj assures Pakhi her mommy will surely arrive .Kavya accuses anu of spoiling their party . Baa and Babuji try to calm Kavya as she lashes out n accuses Anu n Mal of being irresponsible n keeping them in dark of their motive . Baa states Anu was not irresponsible something else must be the matter .

At K house Anu tries to use some hair pins and Aluminium sheets n tries n undo the lock n open Mukku’s door . Anuj is surprised with her attempts .Anu explains she used these means to force open doors when sweetly used to lock up herself . After some moments of struggle Anu prize opens the locked door of Mukku’s room. They are shocked n pained by Mukku’s panic attack as she relives the moments of her physical abuse , Anu hugs her tightly n calms her . Anuj feels the pain n he gets an attack of pain himself , he vomits and then weeps in guilt n pain. Anuj gets an attack of guilt n curses himself for being responsible for Mukku’s state .
Anu calls out Anuj shocked on finding some tablets among Mukku’s things . Anuj comes running on hearing Anu call out his name and is shocked to discover Mukku was taking Anti depressants .

Anupama hugs n calms Mukku as she gets panic attack as she hears neighbours shouting n celebrating new year . Mukku relives her painful past . She screams at someone to stop beating her ,

Anu persuades Anuj share with her why Mukku was crying n behaving in this way . What had happened in the past , Anuj breaks down as he blames himself for Mukku’s condition .

Anuj then reveals how he had separated Mukku from her lover Akshaye . How he had selected padha likha, khandaani, foreign returned husband for Mukku .how Anuj presumed everything would be perfect for his Mukku . Anuj had later learnt on the next NY eve that he had married off his beloved sister to a junglee janwar. He was a beast/monster n mercilessly beat Mukku.

Anuj describes how his sister was victim of domestic violence . Domestic violence does not only exist in villages n poor illiterate people but it existed in high society well placed people too. Anuj was wrong about Mukku’s husband . He was wrong to presume Mukku was happily married . Anuj declares he was wrong . Anu calms n supports guilt stricken Anuj.

Anuj blames himself n society for not taking DV seriously n supporting their daughters n sisters . Society does not support the girls when they complain about their DV . Anuj shares how he was bout to kill that guy but Mukku’s interference helped him escape .

PrecapAnupama calms n consoles Mal Anuj both resting their heads in her lap . She pats them lovingly . Van arrives at K house at that moment n witnesses this scene . He realises he was not needed here .

Vanraj tells Anuj that he knew his help was not needed in any family matter but still if they needed his support in any form he was there n available .

Anupama helps Mukku to vest out n express all her suppressed pain n anger . Mukku is seen bursting pillows by hitting them with a belt n screaming n shouting .
