Going by Aryan's word, he said the channel launch will happen with a BIG story, not with the regular, mundane stuff. So by that logic, the party should happen after PD because only after PD would they have got the story and so the channel can launch, thus party. If they do it otherwise, then it's a major blooper.

I don't think they are going to extend the story in PD if GM is to exit. It's going to be quick. Rushed just like the last 3 epi. In the clip,if that is Imlie, she seems to be all decked up (if that's not a dream) means the Assignment is completed by Imlie and she has won laurels to be under that spotlight in that party.
