Hey friends...

it just occured to me what is the purpose behind sumit's and kumkum's reincarnation?

like in BMTD Sagar and Vidya re re-born as Amar and Divya to take revenge from Sindoora.... like in OM Shanti Om... Om was reborn to take revenge of Shanti's untimely death..

what is the reason that sumit and kumkum are reborn?

I know that they were killed by Pulkit... but there is no sign of him since the reincarnation track.. there hasnt even been any thing in the tellybuzz news that he will still be there... and remember before Pulkit's track started he said he will only be doing cameo...

SO What really is the purpose they are reborn? Or is it just for the sake of TRPs??

would be nice to see some replies😊

Sumit and Kumkum are made for each other, even death cannot separate them from each other. The reincarnation tract is to empahsise the undying love between Sumit and Kumkum.

I think it's too show the undying love, that Sumit and Kumkum have for each other. No matter, what happens there love will never end. Even death couldn't put them apart.

^ The OP has asked for a reason within the story not for the reason why creatives went for the reincarnation track. Even BMTD went for reincarnation to bring freshness back into the serial. But they also have the whole "revenge" thing going on in the story as well. Kumkum is different. Sumit-Kumkum lived their lives to the full. Sumit almost killed Pulkit but stopped due to his promise to Pulkit's daughter. So really, there is no revenge track either. This is reincarnation simply to give Hussain-Juhi a chance to play fresh, young characters, to revamp the show. Hence the only "in-story" reason I see is "fun". Within the story, Sumit and Kumkum reincarnated just for fun. 😆

haha thats funny...that reincarnation was for fun
thanks for replying...
but my point is once they get their memory back and are reunited the story will go back to square one.. sumit and kumkum living happily and someone comes inbetween trying to ruin it... so in long terms there is nothing "fresh" in the story....
thats whay i dont like leaps in the shows... once the have gone for the generation leap there is nothing much left in the story...
thats what happened with sumit and kumkum the story was focused on their children....

anyways... its nice to see them young
