Deepika vs Katrina- Who is the better actress & bigger star?

I often see their fans bashing each other and both DP and Katrina don't seem to like each other either. But the gossip drama is not really something I care about.

Overall both of them have been popular Bollywood actresses for 14+ years now which is rare to see (other Bollywood actresses faded out sooner) so clearly they are doing something right.

Who do think is the better actress & overall bigger star?

Better actress: Deepika

Bigger Star: Katrina

Deepika is by far the better actress and she was a bigger star in her peak too.

I think Katrina has surprised everyone by having the most longevity- she started in 2002 and here she is still doing films at the top of her game with Alia and PC- both actresses who speak the language and are considered talented. So I have to hand it to her.

Deepika is obviously the better actress but she needs to play the long game better. I'm surprised that a person as ambitious as her took such a long break after marriage or Padmavat.

Yes. In the break , i wonder what kind of films she was offered that she refused to do.

Her lineup is diverse now. 4 films very different from one another.

I think Deepika had a bigger peak. But I think Katrina is doing a bit better now

Katrina kaif is the bigger star as she topped last decade as no.1 female star. Deepika came a close 3rd or second but none of her films last decade entered highest grosser.

Yeah I think doing Chhapaak was a mistake, topic is too sensitive and doesn't have mass appeal so of course it flopped.

But it seems that she will focus on more commercial movies now which is great
