It had been a month since she had come to Rajkot, Raavi had accompanied her mausapa to rajkot for his operation. Jagat was her father figure, he was always there for her and she wanted to do everything for him. He deserved all the love and care in the world, and this was probably the second time he ever asked her for something.
A month ago she had left pandya niwas in anger. The whole family hid the truth from her. She kept crying asking them to bring back dev and rishita without knowing that they had planned to bring back the property papers behind her back. Was she not a part of the family? Didn't she have a right to know what they were planning to do?
The confrontation didn't go as planned, Shiva and Raavi got into an ugly verbal fight. It's not that the 2 of them never fought, but things had changed between them, their equation had changed. They were no more enemies. The sexual tension between them was clearly visbile.
3 weeks ago
it had been a week since she left, everyone expected her to come back in a while because that is how she always was. She used to forgive people in no time, nobody expected her to leave like that. Dhara felt really bad, she didn't mean to intentionally hurt Raavi.
“Aise kaise chali gayi woh rajkot? Haan maanta hoon ki maine usse jhagda ki, lekin pehle bhi toh hum ladte the. Aise mujhe bina bataye kaise gayi woh?” shiva said while pacing around his room
“Jab itni yaad aa rahi hai bhabhi ki , toh phone karke baat kar na unse” krish screamed from behind
“Kar hi leta hoon. Mujhse itni aasani se chutkara nahi paa sakti yeh chipkali” he thought and dialed her no.
Ring ring
“Hello” she mindlessly said
“Hello” he replied, leaving her speechless. Hearing his voice after a week made her weak in her knees
“I am sorry” he said. Leaving her shocked yet again
“Kyun? Kis liye sorry bol raha hai? Teri toh mein koi nahi lagti, issi liye toh mujhse baatein chupata hai” she uttered with tears
“Raavi mera woh matlab nahi tha, maine tujhe gaumbi aur dhara bhabhi ke pregnancy ke baare mein jab bataya, tab tune kya kiya?”
“Mein maanti hoon ki meri galati hai, lekin uske wajah se tu kya mujhe kuch bhi nahi bataye ga? Main nahi hoon tere parivaar ka hissa?” she said while choking on her tears
“Meine aise kab bola? Mujhe pata hai ki meri galti hai. Mujhe tujhse baatein nahi chupani chahiye thi. Dobaara nahi hoga” he said sincerely
“I am sorry, main dubara kisi ko bhi humara koi secret nahi bataungi” she added between her tears
Shiva’s heart broke hearing her like this. He hadn’t realized how bad she felt.
“Arrey abhi yeh rona dhona band kar. Maine kaha na ki main tera pati hoon aur sirf main tere aansu ponch sakta hoon, ab jab main wahan nahi hoon tu ro nahi sakti” he said attempting to make her laugh
“Bhootnath kahinka” she said while wiping her tears
“Kaisi hai? Aur mujhe bina bataye kyun chali gayi?” his voice cracked towards the end
“Mein gusse main thi, issi liye bina bataye chaali aayi. Aur mausapa ko meri zaroorat hai”
“Agar wahan kisi bhi cheez ki taqleef hui toh mujhe bata dena, mein ajaunga” he said
“Bata Dungi, mein baad mein call karti hoon. Abhi jaana hoga” she said , disappointment clearly visible in her voice
“Teekh hai, mu-mujhe bhi jaana hi hai abhi” he stammered
“Shiva ruk” she added before he ended the call
“Kya hua?” he asked gently
“Dhyaan rakh apna” she added softly before keeping the call
No one knew the reason behind their smiles, Dhara was glad seeing Shiva smile wholeheartedly after a whole week. Jagat passed a silent prayer to god after seeing his daughter hug her phone to her chest.
This is the only thing Raavi expected, 1 apology from him and she would forgive him mainly because of the fact that Shiva would never apologize until he knew he was wrong. She didn't mind fighting or arguing with him, what she feared of was the lack of communication.
It is truly said by some people that distance makes the heart grow fonder, but lack of communication during your while away ruins the relationship.
