Producer is really good at cost cutting.. specially in wardrobe department. That aaji wears same saree in every scene. Every other character has just 2-3 costumes which they use alternatively. Kiti boring aahe sagal.
Atisha's character really added some charm to this serial now it has lost

What have they done to this once beautiful show ? Very sad. I left watching this crap after Lati sent notice to Abhi. Sad that they wasted a different subject, good leads & beautiful chemistry between them and butchered the entire serial.
I agree, they murdered the show just like how daulat murdered indu
I agree that they don't have enough clothes for each character. The Nimbalkar and Jahagirdar families are supposed to be prosperous, and the Dhumal family isn't poor, so I would expect these characters to afford at least six or seven regular-use outfits. Of course, when a series runs for over a year, any number of repeated costumes will seem either boring or familiar, depending on what the viewer wants. I like that the costumes have become part of each character's own style. Latika's peach nightwear, Abhimanyu's brightly striped workout shirts, Sajjan's sloganed T-shirts, Daulat's royal blue shirt, Hema's deep-coloured sāḍīs, Indumati's blue-and-yellow checked sāḍī, Uttamrav's white shirt and dhotara ... these familiar clothes help to draw me into their world.
Cost-cutting probably helps the wardrobe team to find the perfect single-use clothing items for festive occasions and the memorable scene of Latika in her raincoat.
I liked Indumati's character from the beginning, when she was an intelligent and sensitive mother, aware of her own sons' limitations and firm but sympathetic with Hema. I thought it was refreshing that Latika's mother-in-law would be on her side. As the story unfolded, Indu was often the voice of reason in her family; sometimes, we saw different facets of her, all of which were believable: heartbroken, violent, dogmatic, defensive, implacable ... but always human. Sometimes, I wished she would go back to her original tactful silence, but I think the writers had a good grasp of how to keep her character fresh and interesting.
I just wrote a fan fiction that brings characters from a Hindi TV show (Mehandī Hai Racanevālī) into the world of Sundarā Manāmadhe Bharalī, and features Indu who is alive and well, celebrating Datt'Ātreya Jayantī in her own house with Abhya and Lati.
My story is uneventful and implausible, I admit, because I am experimenting with the fluff and crossover genres and a challenge to include some specific content. Nevertheless, I tried to convey the sort of person that Indumati is, so I hope that reading it will comfort those of you who are missing Indu.
Of all the things Uttamrav could have said about Indumati, I didn't expect "Sonyācī laī hausa hotī tyānalā." Wasn't there an early episode in which Indumati, trying to think of how the family could pay back Rs. 20 lakh to Bapu, said that whenever Uttamrav made money, he would want to buy gold for her, but she would say she didn't need it? Uttamrav would buy either gold or land, and without enough gold on hand, the family was forced to consider selling land.
I shouldn't expect the dialogue writers, who write six episodes a week, to remember every little detail from a year ago. Or, maybe they do remember, and this is their way of telling us that Indumati was only pretending not to want gold, to support Uttamrav's desire to buy more land, and Uttamrav understood her unselfishness.
By the way, what happened to the Rs. 40,000 maṅgaḷasūtra that Abhimanyu bought for Latika's birthday, which he and Vikya took back from Kamini with a trick? It would have been nice if the second wedding had made use of that maṅgaḷasūtra. The one that Latika wears now looks lopsided and minimal.
I liked how matter-of-factly Latika said, "I love you too, Abhya." No shyness or coquetry, just a truth spoken to support her life partner.
The dialogue foreshadowed that Latika will enter the Nimbalkar house to find evidence, disguised as a maid. That's quite a plot twist; isn't Latika easily recognizable? The way characters have talked about her since the beginning of the show, I got the impression that there are no other plus-size girls in the whole village!
Bhanupriya is here! Already, this show had an Indumati (not-yet-resting-in-peace) for the moon, a Sarjerav for the sun, and a Taramati for the stars. Now Bhanupriya - again named for the sun!
What other luminaries could be added to the cast? Where are Mangala (for Mars), Kavita (for Venus), Saumya (for Mercury), Manda (for Saturn), and Gurudas (for Jupiter)?
Does anyone remember any other TV shows that had character names following a theme? I know Hoṇāra Sūna Mī Hyā Gharacī had eight characters with river-names: Bhagirathi, Narmada, Indrayani (Indu), Sharayu, Kaveri (Baby), Sarasvati, Jahnavi, and newborn Krishna. Can you think of any other examples?
Edited to add: Jīva Jhālā Yeḍā Pisā had characters named Mangal(a), Chandrakanta, Ravikiran, and Saumya - Mars, moon, sun, and Mercury.
Seeing what this show was and what it has become, terrible.

What did you like before, and what would you like to see instead of what is happening now?
I must say, Ābā talking lecherously about Bhanupriya doesn't seem promising! Is this the only idea the writers had for Abhimanyu to find out where Ābā's secrets are hidden?
I wish Vikya had a subplot - something about himself for a change, not just listening to Abhya and agreeing with him, or showing up with his scooter whenever someone needs a ride. Wasn't there a line of dialogue long ago about Vikya and his mother in a dispute with his Kākā about their property? With Abhya grieving for his mother, Vikya should be more visible than ever right now.

I loved the thought of a fat lead woman in a marathi show. I loved that she wasn't typically cute, sanskari or dumb. I loved that this is the only show i knew in Marathi where the leading lady is always shown going to work. I loved that she never changed herself to find love.
I loved that she's never ashamed of her being fat and that fat is never a bad word in the show but fat shaming is.
