I have to say- Jala Hua Shergill is quickly becoming one of my favorite layers, along with Aashiq Shergill. It's just making me all giddy and giggly, and, just... pssht.

Karan when Aneesh interrupted him from holding her hand- Yeh doosri baar hai ki yeh hi insaan mere aur Monami ki beech mein aaya hai. Aur wo insaan, jo zyaada hi chipak raha hai usse. Zyaada hi daring hai tu. Goli khaani hai? Seedha muh mein maarta hoon, shayari bhi nahi bol payega.
Karan when Aneesh said wo sab sambhaal lega, and he should relax- Oh, saste aashiq, zyaada uchal mat. Abhi shaant hoon, par jab nahi hoonga, toh khud ko sambhaal nahi paayega.
Karan when Aneesh said 'Khaaskar Monami ki tension tum mat lena'- Ek second yeh toh sach mein interested lag raha hai. Jab dost maan raha tha, tab toh tu bachne nahi waala tha, ab... teri laash bhi kisi ko nahi milegi.
Karan when Aneesh was openly flirting with Monami and she wasn't stopping him- Ek minute. Yeh toh hai hi (hum sanskaari log hain, tum apne hisaab se soch lo). Aur better yet, yeh bol do ki tum mujhse pyaar karti ho. Oh Dr.I-Have-Done-2000-Surgeries, main ek baar surgery karoonga tere dimaag ki kabhi dobara uthega nahi. Zyaada time bhi nahi lagega. Bas ek mukka. Say it with me, Monami ko main behen ki nazar se dekhoonga. Aur better yet, dekhoonga hi nahi.
Karan when Monami said 'Chalo, fine'- Oh madam, yeh koi kapda pasand kiya hai apne jo keh rahi ho 'Chalo, fine, itne mein done karo. Ek gaana gaakar sunao, main tumhaari.' Arey, gaana toh maine bhi gaaya tha, na? Uska kya?
Karan when Aneesh said 'Aapka hukum saraakhon par'- Abey, kam se kam kuch aur hi soch leta. Meri Rani Sahiba hai wo, teri nahi, jo keh raha hai 'aapka hukum saraakhon par.' Is faaltu insaan ke chakkar mein important waali reh gayi. Focus, Shergill. Confession.

Karan after seeing her dancing with Aneesh- 'Ab tum iske saath hi dance karogi, toh mujhe dance kaun sikhayega? Student ko chodh diya? Arey, meri taraf dekh toh lo, please. Theek hai, wo namoona jaanta hai tumhe zyaada, par main... main toh pyaar hoon, na?'
Karan when Faizi said 'Arey waah, yeh toh gaata bhi hai. Aur tumse behtar gaata hai.'- Tu party badal mat, saale. Monami ko insaan chahiye, ya jukebox jo kaun behtar hai usse decide hoga.'
Jokes aside, when Faizi said 'Tumne bahut der kar di', the utter desperation with which he clung to this thread that he was her love, not Aneesh. He was the one she loved, not Aneesh.
Faizi, after taking badla by mocking Karan for hurting Monami (I like to think Faizi thinks of Monami as a little sister), and then going to comfort him like a true best friend. He could see that Monami was still deeply in love with Karan with how she had come. Ab bahut ho gaya. Behen ka badla le liya. Ab yaar ke saath ki baari.
I think Monami has no idea that Aneesh is in love with her. Maybe she deems him as the kind who flirts with everyone, and she is just one of them. Just harmless flirting between two friends, because I really don't think she is someone who would lead a guy on. Like how she knows Sid's compliments on her looks like 'Hot lag rahi hai', or 'Bomb lag rahi hai' doesn't have any other meanings. She was confused right off the bat, about why is Karan so angry at Aneesh, like... Yeh ab kyun Khadoos Shergill mode mein aa gaya? I thought we were past this! Monami's concern when Karan walked off from the party, maybe worried that he was offended because he wanted to talk to her and she wasn't listening to her.
Also:
1. Sanju saying to Sid- Hume iss waqt jahan jiske paas hono chahiye, hum wahin hai. My reaction: Ise line maarni bhi aati? Ek second, news banao. Sanju ne Sid par line maari.
2. My reaction was the same as Karan when Faizi compared Pyaar to Khujli. Like, really? Aur kuch nahi mila? And he had such a 'best friend' reaction, with the hand to his forehead- 'Yeh kuch bakwaas karne waala hai', and when he had completed his brilliant comparsion, that WTH look.
3. Karan's dialogue 'Jale par namak mat chidhak', matlab tum bhi maante ho tumhaari jali.
And of course! The best dialogue!
Abhi tak toh pyaar mein hathiyaar uthaye nahi hai, Faizi. Jis din utha liye na, us din yeh Aneesh tik nahi payega.
