So this serial is over. There can be no going back - no matter what the makers do to this story Malini will always be the winner. Evil wins out. If she has a child then Adi and Imlie cannot be together as he has broken everything. If Malini dies, the child as a reminder of her wickedness will always come between.
Adi has forgotten all the times Imlie has saved his life! I cannot face a story where the bad things people do win out over good. It insults religion too, as it makes it appear that SM forced a relationship on an innocent girl then dragged her out of it for fun. A ruined life.
I cannot watch this ever again. My other serials - well - one is going the same way, two wives, one treated as a servant while the other threatens an abortion- my other is Chikoo which is good, but apparently being finished early, next month. So, sab kuchh katam - mein ja raha hu.
Thanks for the conversations everyone. What a terrible end to this year!
I cannot even say a happy new year as it is starting on such a low! 😭

Bye bye.
:) Thank God to help you come out of all miseries in names of various cliched stories. Imlie story is almost ended. Even if they create another marriage or bollywood type situation, it ends up being more repetitive.
They should have wrapped Imlie by February with a very logical conclusion, given enough space and shown Imlie 2 after some months.
However the challenges to keep all actors in same frame compels writers to give stories some new twist, turns...

Whatever happens, I hope they don't make Adi run behind Imlie again or try to make Adilie happen again. It would be so wrong, especially after explicitly stating the jeeja-saali relationship. Also, she does not think of Dev as her dad, and Malini has been nothing like a sister. So I hope they just don't have their paths cross at all. Which would mean Gashmeer and Mayuri have nothing more to do in the show, and hope this means Gashmeer is leaving the show. I really wish that would be the case!!
GM should have quit when they called it a prank. Talented actor 5hat he is writers make a mockery of the story and the actor’s talent. When they made an actress with limited talent (she does the screeching angry woman well but lacks range in expressing other emotions) front and center in the story they took the story down the slippery slide. If as the actress Mayuri claims Malini is the heroine how come makers gave the show title “Imlie”. 🤪
Other than Imli becoming independent and successful in her career and achieves her dream of providing for her mother nothing left except recycle same nonsense. Better to expose Malini crimes and have her face the consequences and end the show.
ITV serial makers seriously lack imagination to come up with new content. Same script and scenes repeated in shows with different cities and cast. They start with decent story but after a hundred episodes they fall into the preexisting mould and kill the essence of the show.
Sorry what did Mayuri say?
I agree ! And people still watch this kind of crap! Specially in India ! No offense to my India.

Saw her social media post in one of the threads here …..Aditya married Malini. After all Malini is the heroine”(something to that effect).
So why was the show title Imlie?

I’ve only sampled a few shows max 250 episodes (even that’s being magnanimous) then the fall off the cliff. How can every hero and heroine react similarly across shows. I only started watching Imli at 175 episodes but after Janmastami it was obvious it was done.
