Crappy characterisation= crappy acting

I'm now convinced seeing Neil's increasingly terrible acting, that it is not his fault.... but the fault of his characters writing. Neil clearly no longer understands virat's motivations or feelings, and I think somewhere Neil himself is unable to justify virat's actions and behaviour to be able to understand what expressions virat is meant to have.

The same way we as an audience are no longer able to connect with virat's character, who goes around doing stupid things that don't make sense for a police officer to do, that don't make sense for a man supposedly in love with his wife to do, acting ignorant towards the feelings of his wife or the impact of his actions, and instead playing the victim card after the pain he inflicts on others or damage he himself creates through avoidable mistakes.

Agree to some extent. But he couldn't have agreed with other questionable things done by Virat too, yet he brought a certain sincerity to it that made us still have a connect with him. We may not have agreed/condoned his actions but at least it wasn't as disconnected as it is now. Its on him n makers to figure out how to make Virat become a character audience can connect with. There seems to be some casualness and mediocrity that has crept into his performance recently....shaayad voh sangati ka asar hi hai

I also feel the same way that Neil is not able to connect with Virat - Neil in his previous interview said how Virat is family man, but current storyline doesn't show Virat as family man, but some one who is disconnected with everyone

I started to watch the show because of Neil and now Ayesha too. I will still watch this show and other shows they might do in the future.

Neil and Ayesha are both given crappy scripts to play with after Samrat's return. There is so much potential in both Neil and Ayesha to take the show in next level, but crappy script is making Neil disconnect with Virat's character just as Ayesha sometime looks like she is disconnect with Sai's character.

Hope writers can bring back Sai and Virat from GC days or before Samrat's return.

Writers needs to make Pakhi and Samrat move to next level - by Samrat learning that Pakhi is still in love with Virat and introduce new character - Samrut's friend maybe someone who was helping at the orphanage.

Can only hope writers are reading viewers comments

When the story and characters have no progression actors may get bored leading to bad performance.. Bad that's how TV industry works..

Recently in terms of performance both fell flat.. Especially Neil is unbearable to watch.. At least Ayesha gives right expressions and she brought those small aspects while emoting.. However I do feel she has to bring that Sultry attitude in her manarism like other women. It was still present during GC days..

Neil is getting worse day by day.. Closing eyes ,shocked looks and then repeating dialogues are ruining overall viewing experience.. I was unable to decide whether his illogical character or the acting which one is worse..
