The series of painting Dev did of PD apparently helped solidify his career. I’m guessing Malini’s parents were equally wealthy and as it is, Anu prefers her societal status & dollar bills more than her self respect.

Oh yeah, I totally saw it as him going over her and purchasing the dress she purchased for Malini for Imlie. This is a very calculated move on his part to put her in her place after all the taunts she’s been throwing Imlie’s way.

It’s a big move that, Imlie is not alone. There is someone standing behind her, supporting her, and he’s got the means to fight her at her level if money is what speaks to her.
