As others have said, it really just highlights how Adi doesn’t get Imlie, he actually doesn’t understand her. But Aryan, in a short amount of time he’s learned to truly see her. And I love that. Don’t we all want someone that just truly sees us?

Curious- did the purpose for that promo ever come out? How does it fit in the story thus far? it came before the DdLJ midnight snippet so has that phase in the story passed?

Even if she trashed his car … it’s obvious in so many epis that he doesn’t put value to people and apparently “material things are stuff he just tosses around to buy others” so I don’t feel like it’ll matter to Aru whether she trashes the car. Material items hold no value to Imlie either so this car symbolizes nothing. From whatever we’ve seen of Aru … I don’t think he cares about the bank balances and profits as much as he uses it as a shield

I think it was just a symbolic representation of what they’re relationships will be like. Highlighting the differences between the two men and then the tashan type relationship at the beginning between Arylie.
