Hello people! I wish you all a Merry Christmas! May joy and positivity light your life! ❤️
I have written this chapter after most of your demand. This explores a bit of Shiva and is a little different from the previous part. Cause now I believe they didn't explore insecurities well.
Kindly ignore all the typos and grammatical errors. I'll edit them later.
Happy reading! Love - Dyuthi.

You drew stars around my scars- Taylor Swift.
Time seemed like a lapse, moving in a still without the push that Raavi needed. The sound from the washing machine chucked from behind, spinning with a swoosh then to a rumble. The hefty sound kept clicking at random intervals. Raavi hoped for something to tone down the rampage bursting from the pit bottom of her stomach. The sound from the machine on the other hand, made her wait with a bated breath. She checked the time from the alarm clock beside the table for the umpteenth time. Raavi couldn't remember when she felt the kind of rush she was feeling the last time. The mid December added all elements to freeze her further. She felt like a puddle being frozen into solid fragments and then to be liquefied again by the certitude of her inner thoughts. The split of voices in her head were mutually contradictory, she couldn't seem to come into a conclusion. She sighed deeply.
She knew she wouldn't be able to watch the sky from her balcony with all the calm if her mind swung like a drugged hen. She held on to her pillow tightly and stared at the screen loading in front of her. Praffula and Jagat were meowing some spouting platitudes in the kitchen, their rants would mean nothing to a sane mind, Raavi tossed off the few words of their untamable arguments that caught her surveillance. She was sure her neatly trimmed nails would plunge into her pillow in a few minutes, her fret mixed enthusiasm was turning atrocious with lead of time. The page in front of her laptop screen kept loading and loading, pushing Raavi into the black hole of frustration.
May be she should take a break.
Raavi leaned back on the bed with a groan. Why was her Bholenath testing her? She stared at the cream colored ceiling, their familiarity giddied Raavi. She was not a bundle of nerves in her school days, or maybe she was, but not to the extent that she kept swiveling today. The twitch in her nerves pushed her back to staring at the screen once again. This was of no good, her thoughts were turning obdurate, if she was placed next to a rabid dog; Raavi was sure no difference would be spotted for comparison.
Raavi refreshed the page once again, the page loaded like it did before. How many of them are still using the page? Raavi grunted, let them give her chance too! She didn't move from her bed for the past twenty minutes! Raavi would blast if it kept going, she closed her eyes, the restlessness was eating her sanity. The washing machine kept growling in high speed, irritating her somehow. How Raavi wished to get up from the bed and switch the damn thing off! Her menstrual cycle produced less capriciousness in her pre-menstrual syndrome than the current anxiety. Fluctuation in estrogen and progesterone, stress and then abnormal cravings; Raavi rolled her eyes, she was a bomb when her mind turned over charged.
The page opened finally. Raavi shook her head to be sure that she was not hallucinating. So this meant she had to go further to look on for the result? She smiled, at least something worked in the given time! And then the thought of result prodded her mind. Her smile turned into a queasy gasp, the thought cramped the smooth linings of her brain. The puddle froze again, the scorching heat wave was replaced by hailstorm. She swallowed before she mustered up courage to type the registration number. Her feet felt cold just like that. She closed her eyes tightly and pressed the enter button.
Please Bholenath! Show mercy!
I'm your favorite child and I know you will not put me in any trouble or hurt. So just show how wonderful you are! You know I won't exchange anything for the sake of marks, my love is enough for you, I'll keep loving you till eternity falls short. I love you otherwise too but you know why this is important right? So please take more love from me.
Raavi opened her right eye and peeked on to the screen.
Shiva Pandya.
B.A- Economics- Final Year.
Result- Pass.
The sound from the washing machine stopped right then. What followed later was pin drop silence followed by wide eyes and quick beats of her heart. Raavi nearly jumped out of her skin, the ice turned into a puddle again. Her vision clouded in a teary daze, her Bholenath was indeed the most lovable and merciful of everything and everyone in this entire expanse! In an instance, she jumped on her bed, squealing with laughter and joy. Raavi screamed quirkily, dancing all through the sheer joy of celebration. If she could, she would distribute sweets to the entire Somnath. Oh yes she would!
"Oh what noise is that? Raavi Beta are you okay?" Praffula and Jagat came running to her room with worry written on their face for an expression. Her crazy dance confused them further. Raavi jumped towards them and ran to their direction. She held on to Praffula's hand and twirled her around, making her yelp in resistance. Her aunt's shocked and stunned facial voice encouraged Raavi to sing happy nonsenses in addition. Raavi spun Praffula around while Jagat watched them being staggered.
"Oh Raavi! What has gotten into your head?" Praffula stopped her, feeling giddy with her hyperactive twirling. One of these days, Raavi and Jagat were going to get her declared insane and she was certain that Jagat would clap his hands merrily on the very day. Raavi squealed with laughter yet again.
"Shiva cleared the exams Maasi! He got a degree!" Raavi jumped, clapping her hands together, feeling high on delight. Raavi ignored the drain of color on Praffula's face and focused on Jagat's brightened expression instead.
"Arrey wah!" Jagat exclaimed. Shiva deserved the happiness, Jagat understood and wished for that silently every single day. He has watched Shiva work persistently for his family. When it came to them, he never knew how to cut corners, he had given everything soulfully; including himself and if all this meant for a better position in his life, then he deserved the crown of generosity. The degree was nothing in comparison to his diamond like heart.
He dissolved his joy the moment Praffula laid a seething glare in his direction. He would be surprised if Praffula escalated to seventh heaven with happy smiles after learning the probable truth of Shiva's degree.
"You never jumped or clapped like this for your own college results Raavi!"
"Uffo Maasi! Stop na, that guy is talented. Despite our fights, we can't deny it. No cribbing, only smile, smile and smile." Raavi pulled her aunt's cheeks and tapped them. Jagat almost scoffed at her orders. The day his wife smiled about Shiva's happiness would be the day when the sun chooses to raise from the west. He shook his head, Raavi was expecting a little too much from the burning woman. He was happy to see her run to Dhara's place, sugar high, for the childhood enemy that they were. They would keep fighting like cats and dogs but Raavi's naive happiness was a treat for him, his heart swelled in pride.
With all the glee in her heart, she made her way out from her room, then from her house and ran merrily to Pandya Niwas. She remembered how she ran to the same place a few years ago, she was screaming in a mirth, the delight was about clearing her exams and getting a degree. The joy was limitless and the feeling of an unbound freedom made her cavort in front of Gautam and Dhara, they chuckled at her cheeriness. Dhara had even made Kansar to make the moment super special. Shiva rolled his eyes at her stupid antics but stayed quietly in a corner, watching her do the silliest stuff to irritate the moons out of him. She knew he wouldn't interfere with her frolics that day and she made full use of the situation. And now, she ran to the same place with her heart thumping with a joy ten times more than the enthusiasm she had when she came for celebrating her own exam results.
She pushed the rustic door open and skidded into the denizen path that lead to the family. She stopped the moment she noticed his family hugging Shiva in felicity. They were squeezing him hard, lighting up his face in a smile. The smile. Raavi found herself turning into the definition of exuberance. Her pulse pulsed in mystification, glittering radiance in its passage, she held her breath as she witnessed his smile convert the place into a paradise. Her eyes filled again, she restrained herself and gave the best she could in her smile.
There was a time nearly four years ago when Kantaa Kaaki, and her advocates chaffed at a Shiva who carried sacks from a truck to the store. They taunted him, his abilities and his capabilities; comparing him with Dev and the rest of his family members. Raavi couldn't erase that moment from her memory. Despite fighting with him tremendously, she was unable to digest those acidic words from a third person. The fire overgrew when Shiva admitted that he sacrificed his education for the sake of his family. The oblation was a fury for Raavi, she knew what Shiva was capable of and she wanted him to achieve his dreams. Shiva was a stubborn man child and convincing him for this business was a hectic job.
Finally, Dhara corrected the biggest mistake of her life!
Raavi thought to herself. Shiva would revolt against her thoughts but who would deny the truth? Not Raavi. Let the Chattan Pandya keep telling that to himself. Had she not spoken to Dhara about this, things would have remained as they were- Shiva would have sniveled in his boundaries, Dhara and Gautam would have never realized what they did to his life at all.
"Arrey Raavi!" Gautam noticed her presence, warming up her heart almost instantly.
"Shiva cleared his exams and got his degree!" Gautam chanted, he looked gladsome; the brotherly glint in his eyes reverberated the pleasantness of his soul. Raavi's smile found a reason to stretch. Her vision slowly fixed on the wild bear that she loved irritating the most. He stared straight into her eyes, smirking at the success that he achieved; raising his eyebrows in a teasing way. Raavi inhaled a deep breath, letting him have his moment with all the pleasure. She knew she had no reason to pull that sly grin away from his face, she danced crazily when the turn belonged to her.
"I'll make Kansar!" Dhara rushed to the kitchen, running in a daze with a huge smile plastered on her face. Raavi sighed remembering the familiarity yet the difference in the situation. When she looked back into Shiva's side, he threw a known smile. Some things never change, Raavi concluded. Dhara had the habit of making Kansar since childhood, whenever the five of them cleared any exam Dhara came with a huge bowl to fill their stomach. There were times when Shiva and Raavi fought for the last bite, they never gave up on one another when it came for the sweet; if they wanted the same bowl, they wanted the same bowl. They had given Dhara many brittle days in exchange of their fights, they never had the nerve to subdue the random bickering. When Shiva and Raavi cleared their twelfth grade, the celebration was undying; Shiva's rebellion didn't disturb his education after all, who would cherish that other than his family?
"Dhara wait, I'll help you." Gautam moved to the kitchen.
Raavi smiled dreamily.
Shiva hid the evil grin. He knew what his brother and sister-in-law would do in the kitchen when they decided to cook together. Shiva was confident that sweet would take more than hours to be done. Amidst the noises and the praises, he wanted some time off to digest the fact for a fact. He took some steps behind, trudging back to the spot that had always guarded him emotionally. The feeling he had was overwhelming, like an overflowing river on a rainy season, filled over the brink that he wanted so much to give and so much to emote. He was drawn back to the day when he decided he did not want to study. He was unwilling, confused, broken but he kept carrying all of it to raise Dev, Gautam, Krish and Dhara in a higher place. The place from where he wanted to give, to love and to live. He thought it was too much for him, the fact that having a degree did not matter to him; he knew he could learn in ways more than one. Studying never bothered him, he was in fact a learner; he was a keen observer who used his wits to move ahead and he knew he would reach his heights one day. The best was yet to come, he was rock sure. The vacillating voice inside him was powerful, yet, he did not know why the mere degree that the world loved dearly mattered to him today. Shiva looked up at the sky, it was such a pooling mess, he was confused in his own guard.
It was almost the time for dusk, the chillness sprawled across his body, slight winds brushed pass his skin invoking goose bumps initially. Shiva was a rebellious dishevelment, people thought he was rugged and conceding; they still thought him for being one. Nothing was going to differ their thoughts, but Shiva felt light and sheltered after ages and he knew it was not from their opinion. The confusion hit his mind hard, he felt obnoxious and strange.
"Don't you think you are sitting on a height that I can't climb?" He heard Raavi's voice from below. She was holding a bowl of Kansar with a spoon on top of it. He had climbed the tree? Shiva almost couldn't crack down his own actions, he stared at her winkling eyes. She wore a deep blue sleeveless kurti and leggings, she would cry about her clothes getting crumbled in the first stance. The drama queen that she was! He was deeply indulged in his thoughts because...... he was hungry. Yes, that was what it was! Shiva forced himself for a conclusion.
"What.."
"Don't ask what I am doing here! Get down, otherwise you are not getting this sweet."
Shiva rolled his eyes, she had a ballistic bargaining skills. She was a pro at it and she was unbending when it came to threatening the other person to have her way out. Shiva had seen quite a lot to have himself suffer from the deprivation of a sweet that was made for him on a day that was meant for him, even though he did not consider this as one. Shiva jumped down right away and dusted the checked shirt he wore over his vest and his pants. Raavi brought her bowl forward, handing him with a bright smile.
"What is making you so happy?" He found his words diametrical. He was throwing off a teasing smile when she had entered in and now, he was questioning the reason behind her happiness. This was a surge, he knew; he was loosing the bounds of his restrictions, probably pondering more than needed. Dhara would advise him about his future and what he could do for the store, which Shiva would do without a question pronounced at him. Gautam would explain about the jobs Shiva would get, or maybe ask him to study further; Dev also would give him the guide in regards to what was needed to be done in the future. He wanted none of them at the moment, he did not know what he wanted. Raavi pulled his hand and placed the bowl, it was slightly warm; cozy for the chilled evening.
"You want this to cool down? Eat!" She stuffed him a spoonful of the sweet. The taste melted through his tongue, carrying him in a uplift; it was delectable.
"Suman Kaaki is so proud of you!" Shiva gave an ear to her praises, focusing better on the food that he was stuffing. He wondered of what was going wrong with him. Everything seemed perfect, they were all anticipating for this day for the past three years. The question was did he? Shiva swallowed down the food, and stared ahead at the lane of trees, the place was bereft of people, all lonely and silent with the sounds from the wheezes of leaves being the only breaker of quietude and Raavi, of course.
"Shiva Pandya is eating Kansar without giving praises, tch tch tch....such a waste of effort. Dhara Di will be very upset." Raavi stated. Shiva almost wolfed at her busting statement, he eyed her obscurely. He narrowed his brows and watched her biting her lips effetely in order to hide her devilish smile. He nodded is head impossibly, she was the human form of melodrama.
"Dhara Bhabhi?"
Raavi bobbed her head in a yes, making him narrow his brows further.
"Why would she get upset for not getting a praise when you made this sweet?"
To that Raavi bit her lips and closed her eyes momentarily. She recovered soon and threw him a sheepish smile. She grabbed the bowl from his hand and started eating from the spoon. Shiva had to be happy that somebody was making the sweet for him on this day! Oh, the idiot loved to irritate her and found that more essential than appreciating her effort. Shiva snatched the bowl from her hand and started stuffing.
"This is good! You eat but don't appreciate. Why do you do this Bhootnath?"
"My question. Why did you make this? Are you celebrating the good riddance of Shreyali?"
Raavi gaped at Shiva's unbelieving question. Of everything, he only had to ask the one that was striking him the most. He loved steaming the brewing coffee out of her sanity! He kept surprising her with his actions but Raavi was no less, she knew what to do and when, that was a talent she grew up with. Especially when it came to Shiva.
"Oh Bhootnath. Why would I celebrate her good riddance? I know there is only one person who can tolerate your mood swings. So basically there's nobody else for you." Raavi placed her hand over his shoulder. Shiva swallowed down the morsel, smiling sarcastically at her declaration. Shiva lifted her hand off his shoulder and glared coldly.
"Mood swings?" He felt offended undeniably.
"Of course."
"When?"
Raavi rolled her eyes. Shiva was a probable mess, he did not know where to start and where to end. He began when his actions ended and that's how he learned; it was not easy to erase the hardened memories of his life. Shiva had carried them all along with him. Raavi was sure he would disregard them in no minutes.
"Shiva. You know what I'm talking about. Quit feigning."
Shiva sat down beneath the tree, placing the bowl on the ground; limiting his vision to the trees and the blanket of pink scooping across the dusky sky. He was able to feel her sit beside him, her warmness seeped from near her onto him. Shiva was unable to decipher the swinging momentum.
"I'm not used to this Raavi. It's all new to me." Shiva accepted, finally; he was surprised at the ease.
"I'm literally feeling secure and yes, I'm happy....but this is too overwhelming. Such happiness, it has been a long while."
"I can't believe, I mean..." Shiva stammered, his eyes started to well, he was able to feel a shiver through his spine. The placidness weaved into the ocean of nullity. Shiva felt jitters, the lack of certainty twisted him in the expanse of blankness, he wanted to witness stars but all that he saw was the grimness of his own...
"Shiva." Raavi held on to his hand, pressing his palm with hers. Shiva broke from the terrifying trance and looked straight into her chestnut orbs. Shiva remembered how often he broke loose in front of her. He remembered the felicific instances that were spoiled merely by the muddle of his thoughts, they raged a havoc in him, they threw him off guard, it always went beyond his control. Shiva remembered the first time he lost his temper in front of Raavi, they were surrounded by his college mates and two guys were knocked out. Shiva's fist was bleeding, Raavi saw Shiva's untamed wrath. She had managed to convince the staff and the others somehow, the college feared of Shiva while Raavi stood unafraid right beside him. She took him back home and kept the issue a secret, she tended his wounds and walked back home without speaking. He had decided that Raavi would never agree to him or his behavior, he always had the probability ever since they let out each other's secret four years ago. The distaste about not being efficient overpowered his stance for himself. Shiva felt ferocious but Raavi never stepped behind, not for a second. When Raavi showed up with the same excitement the next, Shiva was bewildered.
One of their random arguments lead them to their first kiss. Needless to say, Shiva experienced the shiver but anxiety plummeted down the moment. Raavi was teary when she found him struggle to cope up from the blow. Raavi had promised that she wouldn't make the move until he was confident about himself, even if it meant to stay without his physical touch forever. Every time he tried; he grew glum and dull- All that Raavi did was to stay beside him. Her heart crumbled when he was hurt, her breath hitched in a twinge when he gasped for air, the anxiety cluttered her.
And one day, just like that, Raavi dragged him to a therapist. Shiva was raged, their random and silly fights turned into a vehement and hurting storm. Raavi accepted the foolishness of her decision, she should have asked him before she took any decision on his behalf. She was irrational but the hurt was a distaste that remained bitter for many months, Shiva stopped speaking to her for a long time. Raavi turned into a havoc. She was sleepless, drained, she found her strength break at every instance, she felt pathetic for triggering the worst in him. There weren't days when she did not pray to revert the situation, on the dead end, she also wanted his betterment. She was unable to stay calm when it came to him, she was ready to face the hurricane he carried within himself single handedly. Suddenly, out of the blue, on the night of a Diwali, Shiva agreed to attend the therapist. The days that followed were a roller coaster, she found many sides to the Shiva that the world did not know.
Shiva's fury subsided the day Raavi made him meet their teacher. The bottled up emotions resurfaced once and for all. Shiva broke free from the responsibility of being guilty for something he never did all this life. He had cried on her lap that day, venting out his tears, breaking free from thoughts that caged his mind. He stopped attending the therapist gradually, or to be precised, the therapist found him strong enough to lead a life that he wanted. And all of it was a big secret, even Dhara had no idea about what had transpired between them. Shiva was safe to feel secure with her, just her. Shiva couldn't disagree when she mentioned that only she knew how to handle him, because she never left. Shiva remembered what she conversed when he begged to find a person who was better than him.
Shut up Shiva! You cannot choose for me.
If you want, you leave.
Shiva couldn't leave either. He had envisioned the brown of her eyes every single day and he knew wouldn't forget her even if he tried his best. He found the rush, the eddy and the turbulence, he saw the thorns and the stars. Three years appeared to be a huge journey which blossomed into something that seemed mesmerizing when looked back. Raavi was a part of push and pull too, her insecurities tied her down to living up to the benchmark that restricted her only to his family. It took quite a push from his side to make Raavi think about herself, her needs and her abilities. She loathed to be alone, it frightened her, she was in fact scared of her own shadow. The anarchy uprooted the anchors of her qualm, she always needed the constant assurance of somebody over her. And it took a pull to keep her feelings on a constant check. She often forgave those who crushed her sentiments mercilessly, the trait was typically Raavi-ish but he was not the patient kind, he did not like it when she traded her emotions so easily. People often took advantage of her and Shiva had often turned overprotective in that very second.
Shiva sighed, smiling into her brown orbs. She was the poetic imperfection that fixed him completely. The anxiety was his anchor, he was able to understand himself better with that. Shiva found a new depth to himself, he kept growing in that space. The places that broke him once were the places that carried him home, they carried him to himself and by loving him better, he learned to love the woman that made him love himself much stronger than ever. A soft wind blew past their faces, it took them back to the night they started to sink into each other's eyes. Crescent moon, starry sky, her friend's marriage songs, the joining of their fingers. The exhilaration was breathtaking.
He knew he was grounded with Raavi beside him, always.
"Waise, I can't tolerate that chipku Shreyali okay. I'm happy about her good riddance."
Shiva nodded his head impossibly. Did she think there was a possibility of anybody stealing his heart the way she did? She was the ethereal dream that had descended down for his own sake, he was not letting her go even if goddesses came in front of him in exchange of her.
"Ah. There can be no chipku like my chipkali." Shiva tapped her nose.
"Yeah, there can be nobody as proud as me Shiva. I know how much you struggled to get this degree."
"Really? How much?" He scoffed, wriggling his eyebrows.
"I'm sure how much you struggled in front of the laptop before my results. You were tensioned weren't you?" He tapped her nose again.
Raavi looked away, eyeing up at the almost blue sky. She had forgotten to stare at the sky today, she was busy prodding about the idiot's results! She sighed, she was not going to accept to his words. It was the seventh day of waxing phase, which only meant the crescent was going to gleam perfectly across the cold sky. She could dream all night today and lay sprawled with a surging comfort. But before that, she had works to do. She had to thank Bholenath, she had to meet Dhara and she had to get back home. It was getting late and their families would have already started searching for them. Raavi stood up immediately.
"Shiva come quickly, we gotta leave. Or no, they will find out if we come together. You come I after go home. Eat the sweet and..." Raavi felt a hold on her little finger, the warmness from his finger hit her body differently. She turned around to witness his black eyes ooze into her, the evening blue sky sharpened his features, he looked almost like...Her breath heaved. Raavi never felt such a vigorous intensity in the past three years. They were deep; conversational and spiffing, their silence spoke volumes habitually but Shiva's silence today carried her to depths that she had never been to before.
"It's our struggle, Raavi." Shiva stated, his voice toned down a few octanes. Her heart drummed against her will. She swallowed at his words. What did he mean? It was Raavi who bugged Shiva in the middle of the night with her load of poems, Shiva had groaned in frustration when her ranting reached a certain limit. When he spoke about statistics, Raavi had hung the phone right away. The subject was too much of a headache. She never paid a heed to his rumblings about the subjects he loved and when it came to math, she maintained a safe distance. That was the reason why she wanted him to clear the papers in the first go. Who would want to study the subject that tricked the brain once more? Shiva would love to, she was implicit.
Shiva was too much of genius. He topped statistics in the university, it only fixed him a scholarship. The struggle never belonged to her. He went through so much and still managed to complete his degree, the credit goes to him, he gave it a bud and there was no way she would claim her credit from his efforts.
"It was you Shiva, your love for the subject and..." Shiva placed a finger on her lips. Her heart almost skipped a beat. Raavi did not remember how she felt when he kissed her for the first few times. They were slow and what succeeded later was his panic attacks. It was a blur memory and harsh in certain places. Raavi stopped thinking about kissing Shiva in these years, she felt complete in his hugs, she was happy holding his hands, talking to him day and night, sleeping over the conversations and waking up in confusion. She did get distracted by him here and there, but she managed to chuck the feelings down. Raavi was sure that she would do something like that yet again.
"You think I don't know?" He whispered.
"You sold your mom's pendant for my fees, Raavi." Shiva never knew he was as precious as her mother's last memory, probably much more than that. He had cried that day too. What did he do in real to have her in his life? It was true that he dreamt of her all through his childhood but the consuming feeling was beyond reality. She was invading his soul, conquering it and was ruling all over. Had he known that day, he would have returned it immediately but it was too late and he was so overwhelmed....that was the reason why he felt so emotional today. He had made it today, just for her. He hoped he conveys that to her one day in front of the world.
Raavi was his savior.
She saved him from himself.
The world did not matter to him, it never did.
Shiva felt his confidence coming back like the sun gleaming into the latitude after a rainstorm.
Raavi stared agape, icicles busted from the pit bottom of her belly. She felt conscious of her surroundings and herself around him. This was one thing which she thought he did not know. She looked into his raven eyes, they drew her in, glittering her in shades that she couldn't describe. Raavi licked her lips, words ceased to escape from her mouth. Her voice was in fact failing to produce, she blinked multiple times to shake out from the reverie.
"Why?" Shiva asked again.
Why do want to stay Raavi?
Why are you doing this?
Why do you want to be with me?
Raavi smiled, she placed a hand on his chest. She was able to palpate the thudding of his heart; her thoughts were not noble, she forced to push them away yet gain. She was not going to give him another nightmare on the day he completed his degree, not now, not forever. Shiva was enigmatic, she would be surprised if somebody did not fall for him. He was the stars that shimmered in the dark sky, he was the warmth to the cold nights; he was the mild warm sunrays on a freezing winter noon. He was the dusk that cracked various colors on the wide vivid sky.
"Cause I gave you a part of me and you know it cannot be taken back."
The physical necessity was never a question because it did not matter to her, she had him; it was the best part of her life. She had a person who could confide her secrets with, she had a person who would correct the worst in her and bring out her best without speaking in the back, she had the wild bear who was ever ready to fight with her recklessly for no reason. She had him no matter what.
And suddenly, her spine shuddered; her legs wobbled. She held on to him for support. Raavi found her breath struck in throat and her eyes grew wide, stars collided with the face of earth. She found a hundred feelings at the same instance, his lips were so soft against hers but Raavi couldn't slip back from the shock. When Shiva pulled away, fear grasped her restrain. Was he okay? Did he? What if he? She looked on to him, heart in her mouth, fret in her veins and sweat through her skin. Shiva's expression took her by a jolt; he smiled into her direction, almost unbelievably, he looked heart throbbing.
"Shiva, are you okay?"
Shiva nodded his head, smirking at her question. His eyes twinkled in a merry, the expression blew Raavi away. He looked like a painting, so surreal and mystifying. How did she get so lucky again? Her heart beats slowed, taking her into a world where stillness bloomed in effervescence. The calm was coruscating, the doubt and confusion merged into a single feeling of predilection. The feeling was familiar to lighting a camphor, the fragrance was ecstatic, heartily divine and warm.
Before she could sigh in satisfaction, Shiva claimed her lips again. The idiot was an impatient imbecile, Raavi growled in her head. The softness of his lips distracted her focus in the swivel of a few seconds. They felt so smooth, moving against her lips, flustering her to the colour of red. The wait had its best gift maybe, she found herself being so intensely close with someone who seemed aesthetically pure in front of her eyes, he was everything she could ask for. He was in fact everything to her.
Shiva did not realize what a kiss could do to him, she was an elixir, he had never felt the spark that came off from her in such a rapturing way. He was a fool to miss her out all these years. She was a celebration in herself, so blissful magical that he was spellbound. None of whom he had kissed gave him the life that she gave him. He smiled gleefully through their kiss. The smile over grew when she snaked her arms around him. His hands found her waist and he pulled her closer to him. All that he wanted was just to stay close to her. He was not going to leave, he always had her. It was now his turn to give all that he has, for her, just for her, more than he did before. He did not know if that was possible, but he found himself growing deeper than he was in the previous times and he was sure to make eternity fall in short of his love.
He broke the kiss to stare into her eyes. They were in a trance, they knew.
"God Raavi, you are the negative root of minus one." He mumbled as he pecked her lips and pushed her towards the trunk of the tree. He gasped, heaving at the sight of a blushing Raavi. The irritability on her face after his compliment dragged him to smirk in satisfaction.
"Shut up Shiva." She pulled him back to the job, rolling her eyes.
She was unable to tolerate his ability to bring math into everything. Her genius idiot Bhootnath was too much of a baggage!
