Mohit shared, “Initially, I was in talks with Nilanjana (Purkayasstha) ma'am, she wanted me to be a part of the show but things didn't work out at those times. Again, she wanted me to be a part of the show but maybe some other project. She's family and I really respect her work. It's my wish that I do something again with her because she's one of the best persons to work with. She understands the craft really well. Look at her shows, they are all different. She has never followed the trend. She has always broken the trend and that shows she isn't a businesswoman, she is a creative person. I really wanted to do Dhadkan but it's a limited series with 65 episodes and I didn't want to come back with a show where I am ending the show.

If at all I want to come back to TV, I want to come back with a new show because I like that energy in the beginning, keeping everyone together. Already there are actors and I don't want to enter the show midway, please cast somebody else. She's my favourite person, she's my favourite creative and I so wish to work with her someday again. So, let's hope, probably in the New Year, we might do something together.
