Exactly! Thats the point - responsibility to provide, which is with the spouse only. It could be with either spouse but this Vedika has no job and is clearly financially dependent on her hubby. As are most homemakers who, unlike her, work hard at home yet have no financial income, so in such cases the hubby is the ‘provider’. Even if both hubby & wife were working, it is would still be indecent for an ex to meet one’s needs without the spouse’s knowledge/consent.
