Oh I do agree with low opinion on men. Trust me, especially in indian subcontinent, it's like... Good decent functional men are just very hard to find.

Beauty is important, and in the continent where gender roles are strict, men own most of the property, they certainly gravitate towards looks.

Here's the thing, men mostly don't like smarter women than them. Most of the women I know are really good looking, and extremely intelligent. Biggest issue I've faced, and seen, men from every generation, absolutely hate and take it personally if a woman corrects, contradicts them. And it's true for the most woke educated men too. Men generally want a intelligent woman, just less intelligent than them.
