HELP ME GET RID OF THE AMERICAN LINGO

this is my first post in this section

guys plz help me get rid of the american lingo that im so stuck to

i had gone to US last fall n my lingo has completely changed

my friends are so irritated with me coz they think im tryin to show off

but thats not true i was with my cousins in nyc n i got used to speaking in their lingo that it actually stuk to me too

i use words like cabs, cabbies, deli, etc unintentionally but very often

no worries, it will get lost soon, i have a sugg: after posting, read your post and try editing out teh yunky words😃

try and get back into you normal way
and when you talk correct yourself if you say something 😊
