He has hired people with a plan of 20 songs keeping a concept in mind..has made arrangements, has to pay them..his team is his responsibility..now his leading lady backs out. Of course there will be disappointment. Chitra agreed at last moment coz of their good relations..otherwise finding a leading lady at short notice would've been difficult.

Whether his banking on Arudeep chemistry, or planning this MVs with such a young girl was a sensible decision or not..it's another question. But they agreed and went ahead. So if he was unhappy it's justified..

If Octopus has the guts to take risk on a very temporary fragile craziness of Arudeep, they should accept any consequence and they seem to be okay with Aru's decision.

If Octopus is okay, I don't find any reason for any Arudeep fan (=PD fan) to troll Aru's decision. It is their excessive excitement and sky rocketed day dreaming supported by Idol, Octopus, Khichdi, TV Viral and other sardi wala YT channels that compelled Aru's family to turn in a defensive mood. Instead of protesting the trollers we are suggesting Aru's family to keep quiet. This is the unfortunate fact of this world. In a way we are encouraging such trolling. No troller can throw mud to Aru and her family if they have listened to their heart. No fan, no troller are in a better position to assess what is good for Aru than her own family.

The business case has been always a mystry for Octopus project. We don't know actually what was the agreement between Aru and Octopus and what was the understanding with her parents. What commitments were given by Octopus to her family. Since Octopus has accepted and respected decision of Aru digesting the fact that she will not act in the MV, to me Aru and her family have valid points which are unknown to us. All the trollers will ultimately achieve is to create a misunderstanding between the duo and drive a permanent wedge. I sense that is bound to happen now.
No true Arunita fan thinks that Octopus has been fair with her. Even her singing has been repeatedly relegated to a support role by Octopus. They don't air those views but prove it by their actions. Arunita has a large dedicated and supportive fan base. Without their involvement presentations like Fursat will not find committed fan support and have to be supported by the general public. That is often a function of hype/overactivity created by fans.
There was no support by any Idol for this launch by Octopus. This is in contrast to the previous launch. May not mean anything but some would interpret it as a signal that whatever happened between Aru and Octopus did not go down well with them. If my information is correct then they have every reason to side with Aru.
So, I hope that for everyone's sake Octopus drops Arunita for good, even as a support singer. That would help them and Arunita as well. She does not deserve to play second fiddle in singing and does not need to act. The trolling would then stop and Octopus can focus on producing 20+ songs with fail proof plans.

However, I want to share my PoV on the bold part. In II12 many things were done for the sake of TRP. Aru was a contestant and there must be an agreement between the contestants and II authority. May be we don't know if there was no reservation from Aru's family, the TCT would go beyond what they showed in II12 for TRP.

Allowing to do all the stints in II12 does not mean that Aru and her family have given a blank cheque to Octopus to do the same in the MV and even go beyond. The context of II and Octopus project is not the same. Whatever the intention of Octopus was it has been largely perceived after MD that they are focusing on Aru's looks than her singing quality.

The madness of Arudeep fans, calling Aru 'bhabi' and / or shouting 'shadi ho geya kiya' during UK concerts along with Surani's IV with YT channels where interviewers suggested kissing scene etc. definitely have a role in Aru's decision.

Arudeep was a TRP stunt for II12 and that does not mean it will go for life long. Using real name in MD was a very shameful and cheap act from Octopus. MD crossed the limit of definition of MV affecting personal life of a budding talent like Aru. Becoming part of a successful MV is desirable but not at the cost of personal image, not at the cost of career as a singer.

In these days it is acceptable that the trollers have the right to throw mud to any celebrity but it is not acceptable that the family members of the celebrity have the right to clarify their position.

I am happy that Aru's brother clarified their position. He might delete the comment but the message is well delivered and acceptable to me. 🙏

Didn't observe that as my attention was on the decorations.

Octopus didn't seem too interested in Arunita's singing talent much, so it's good if she is no longer a part of this project. Although I do think that both parties should have been more straightforward when they signed the contract to avoid this mess.
