Certain circumstances triggered resistance. They with met with a response that made any settlement impossible. So, as far as Arunita is concerned, Octopus involvement would be a done and dusted episode in her life unless miracles happen. The price may be hefty (for both) but cannot be avoided now.

I am not going in to who is right or who is wrong. As fans we tend to see only what matters to, and finds favour, with us.

But Octopus will have to carry the show without her and her fans who have resolutely supported her through this period of turmoil.

If that makes business sense to them will be clear with the passage of time.

It seems Octopus sjgned Aru for acting only, not for singing. Their reaction, their remarks, their activities are very clear that to them Aru was a glamour product. It is very evident in 1st two songs. Two songs are actually PD shows as a singer, Aru has been clearly side lined. Octopus failed to give Aru the honour as a singer whereas Aru is a better singer by far. So the outcome was inevitable.

Octopus project is nothing but an unplanned product out of excitement to cash on Arudeep.

This is factually incorrect. They have given her all credit and even in the Fursat press events they have only praised her singing. Even when the reporters have fished for controversy and asked about her decision, Raj Surani has only said it's their decision and then moved on without much comment on that topic. He has refrained from any mud-slinging in these press events.

Aru was not properly utilized as per her talent in 1st two songs. The frustration of Octopus after Aru's decision not to act in the MV was very prominent. It would be better if they utilize Aru as per her talent in the songs instead of praisng her as singer at the press conference.

Well to be fair his frustration was not misplaced. Like he said in one press con..after Aru conveyed her decision his team was looking at him like 'ab kya'..his choreos and all..

He has hired people with a plan of 20 songs keeping a concept in mind..has made arrangements, has to pay them..his team is his responsibility..now his leading lady backs out. Of course there will be disappointment. Chitra agreed at last moment coz of their good relations..otherwise finding a leading lady at short notice would've been difficult.

Whether his banking on Arudeep chemistry, or planning this MVs with such a young girl was a sensible decision or not..it's another question. But they agreed and went ahead. So if he was unhappy it's justified..

BTW he said after Pawan, Octopus next song is with SMP..don't know if it means immediate next or later ones

I think that is marginal. By and large the model followed in both songs is male start, male for first "antara" with small portion of female voice, female for second "antara" with small portion of male voice, female wrap up, male final closure. Due to this template it typically comes to say 60-40 or thereabouts instead of sharp 50-50.

U r right.. but for those who arent opting to listen to the whole song..they would just hear the male voice and form n opinion...we fans listen to the whole
