He is a good actor and a nice person, and that matters more to me than what he wears

Although its interesting how Harry styles gets praised for wearing outrageous outfits, people in the west love his fashion and even praised him when he wore a dress

I see your point- however, Harry Styles has received his fair share of criticism for his sartorial choices. Here in the UK at least anyway.

Yes people have criticised Harry for wearing womens clothing, however he was hugely defended by many people aswell, overall his fashion choices have had a large amount of support

Maybe my Indian sensibilities lead me to expect a bit more maturity from someone in his 30s. I am not fond of overgrown teenagers. Same for many others. So what?

And when he's a celeb and puts his pics out there, it's not from an expectation of privacy and delicacy. He's inviting comments. If he imagines all positive or even mostly positive opinions, too bad the rest of us are not obligated to grant him his wish.

What does any of it have to do with his acting skill or his character? Does it mean if someone has decent enough character, they are beyond criticism for their fashion choices or attention seeking behavior?

I haven't said people can't criticise his fashion choices, if you want to criticise it you can, I was just saying how I feel about his fashion in my post, that for me he can wear whatever he wants and that won't change my opinion about him or make me dislike him, he is a great actor and person and that is the reason I am his fan

The thing is he knows the reaction his clothing gets, he has seen the negative reactions and trolling, yet he still chooses to dress like this again and again, either he enjoys the negativity and trolling or he really does not care

But how sure are you that it is attention seeking behavior? May be he is just genuinely interested in dressing up in a particular way? Or may be he wants to open up a conversation on more clothing options for men?

@Bold: Absolutely! I doubt any celebrity having such idiotic expectation that only positive comments will come their way. I am sure Ranveer knows how much he gets trolled for his fashion choices, but he clearly doesn’t seem to care. Well, good for him!

That said, criticism is good and I am sure welcomed but name calling and bashing just because someone was wearing the clothes that are not to our liking is purely toxic and unacceptable. Such vitriol only will harm the person who is indulging in it because at the end of the day, he is the one who is living with it!
