Because when u get through all the 90s and the 2000 albums, you will get 10000 of similar kinds of dholak tabla songs in 90s probably too monotonous for music, perhaps because it was the monopoly of Nadeem Sharavan..... With 2000 the music had became so vast and by then kk also entered the scene, every music director was working great to provide best... From rehman to pritam to sajid wajid to himesh to jatin lalit to anu malik they were making experimental songs, there was more vareity in 2000 then in 90s I think so.... Give your opinion

I can't choose- I love both! I'm not a huge fan of Nadeem-Shravan though!

I like nadeem sharavan too... But their music was too much sound alike, the only album where they tried something different was pardes and tumsa nahi dekha 2004.... Otherwise all their 1990 to 1995 kumar sanu songs are too monotonous to et idenfied

Yeah, that's why I am not a big fan of Nadeem-Shravan's music. Also, yes, they kept using Kumar Sanu for all their songs and it got boring after a while.

Hardly. There are great songs in every decade. Ismail Durbar, Rahman all rose to fame in the 90s. R.D Burman gave his last masterpiece with 1942 a love story. There were old stalwarts like Viju Shah popping in and out. And Indipop was giving some great competition to Bollywood. Kumar Sanu was overused in the 90s just like Arjit Singh is being overused now.

Ismail darbar only had hum dil de chuke sanam , sajid wajid came in 99 but their major work is during 2000 same with himesh reshamiya , jeet-pritam came in 90's rose to fame in 2000 , then same with vishal sheker , their were diverse work during 2000 unlike Nadeem Shravan monoply in 90's , rehman started during 95 but nadeem shravan were on their peak those days

90s music is better even if less experimental than 2000s music.

90s was the last decade when music could make or break a film's fate at box office. Musically 90s is better IMO. Even B grade action films had some good songs that managed to stand out.

Post 2000 music was no longer a make or break factor for film to succeed at BO. It ceased to be that important in determining fate or memory of a film. Anyone could download music or view fav song online or get cds. They no longer showed up to watch films based on music.

Some post 2000 music is wannabe and cheap attempt to copy international music (like cheap attempts to copy western music in 80s).

90s is probably the last musically dominant decade. Nowadays not all films have good music, nor does music become a make or break factor in determining how memorable a film or star in a song will be or how a film will do at BO. Nowadays films with okayish or average music also do well at BO. In 90s it was not possible for a film to succeed if its music did not succeed.
