Honestly I'm looking forward to it. Let Aditya think Imlie and Aryan are a thing. Let him see a really compromising position. I want to see it too šŸ’•šŸ˜

I had faith in him but still … these click-bait articles had got me twisted

also, if the end game is AdiLie, or generally on tele an initial pairing lasts despite all the crazy until the end, usually we have to suffer the slow death of a solid character 😵

I feel this on a deep level.
Somehow, the choices are Sikand’s abandoned babies or Ekta’s eternal life characters (leap upon leap). I think Sikand actually got his career start under Ekta šŸ˜†

And yes, it totally feels like a safe haven from the others šŸ˜‚ I don't want to bash or anything, I understand that people get invested in shows and couples. It was a year of Aditya and Imlie. Then they separate in episode 308 and Aryan is introduced in the same episode. It's only episode 333 and well, today, that scene - I can understand the frustration.

I try to keep my expectations low and just enjoy it for entertainment value. I must say though, I haven't enjoyed a dynamic this much since I binged Bepannah.

Thank you! Yes, I love this place!

Yes, people do invest in the couple and it's not pleasant when you have a new character introduced and he seems to be the good guy vs the one who you knew was and always wanted to be the good one. It's okay to sulk too but what's with the random bashing and almost personal attacks on the character and his fans as well? Yes, there are things about ASR that aren't exactly praiseworthy, but I'm sure the same was the case with Adi as well when he was introduced because if people are still talking about how Adi is supposed to be flawed, then he definitely may have had a fair number of people defending him when he was introduced as well, if not all. Theek hain, it hurts but kya kar sakte hain? I just drop the show when I feel the characters don't hold my interest any more. šŸ˜†

Oh, you a BP fan too? I binged it too and despite binging, I dropped the last few episodes when I felt the story getting on my nerves. 🤣 I think the KC epi or so was the last one. I tried to go back to it once but failed miserably. 🤣 Abhi tak finish nahi kiya. Same with another short show I'd watched on Sony ages ago.

Ok, so my focus in today's 2 cents is only 2 scenes because they are co-related with each other.

AryLie scene: Today I really felt that there was something else going on here. I am actually blushing today writing thisā˜ŗļø, but what was that bro. Aryan always manages to stump Imlie doesn't he? And the eyes. More than the hand-holding, it was the eyes. Imlie's eyes had so many questions, yet there was some kind of a fear. Aryan's eyes, which only had fire and fearlessness. Regarding the hand holding, I am curious what made him give his hand for support suddenly. What has changed? Why did the entire scene feel like Aryan was marking his territory? Imlie belonging to one territory for sure. Guys, please help me. Why do you think he offered his hand today?

AdiLie: And today another difference between Aditya and Imlie. Jab Malini Aditya ko bolti hai to woh Imlie ko question karta hai. But here, Aryan ne Aditya ki bajai, to madam chali aayi Aryan ko question karne. You see, Imlie chose to defend Aditya (as a reflex), although fault Aditya ka tha. And Aditya chose to question Imlie, jab fault uska tha nahi.

Coming to the precap: I am really hoping that Aryan doesn't take that hand. I am just hoping that Aryan actually lives up to the words he has said like he always does, but you never know with writers man.

Rest all was fast fwded.

And people, please do comment. Haven't been able to tag everyone, but feel free to share your thoughts.

Maaan! That AryLie scene was so beautiful! smiley42That whole confrontation by Imlie and Aryan just calmly giving her the logic of it all! My heart just melted the way he said that whatever she has accomplished so far is her talent and nothing else. The whole thing about making her a freelance feature writer so that she can also dedicate time to her studies was so thoughtful! I don't know what they will do with Aryan later, but for now, I'm just loving these small little unique traits of his. On the surface, he may be just another Gul hero with those random rude acts (which I think is just Gul's way of drawing attention to the character) but this guy has those elements which make him stand out. The one thing that I absolutely LOVED about him was that he did not hesitate one bit to give her her due praise when she succeeded professionally. He didn’t do faltu ka drama and attribute her victory to luck or nitpick on other factors that weren't as per the plan and nor did he put his ego before it all. He praised her, sincerely. He didn't do it to goad or belittle Adi, even though that did end up happening in the process, his intentions were clear. The man has my heart as of now.

Why he offered her his hand? I don't know. The only thing she's done differently is shown him her worth. Until now, she was first a radom stranger, then someone who he offered the job to because she saved his sister's life. While he could read her, there was nothing to prove that she was worth his time and attention. Now, he knows what she's capable of and that she can butt heads with him in the true sense - her words are no longer just verbal sparring to prove herself right. It isn't an ego thing. It's truly her character. And ASR is affected by it.

I'll take the two of them screaming at each other in the rain.

Why so emotionally invested Mr. Zero Chance? 😌 Someones started to reeally care

Promo link please..

I gotta say Gul's earlier shows were great. I don't watch the recent ones very much, they seem a bit convoluted like this one šŸ˜‚

Because the earlier shows did poorly in terms of trps there was no network interference due to low expectation and she got to do what she wanted and it was kind of nice. I think almost of her shows aired on youth channels until IPKKND and that's when network interference started.

Before that the budget was lower and the plots were "weaker", but she really understood pace and most of the struggles were character driven. The actors themselves really enjoyed the writing and gave notes on their characters. I remember for Geet, there was a rain sequence and Gurmeet and Drashti and the entire crew waited for like hours to get an aerial shot. It was the best rain sequence I've ever seen.

I hope if Arylie does happen its a slow burn and lets both of them continue to be themselves.

Me too. I don't think I've ever finished a drama beginning to end. I go on and on about Geet, but even that I dropped once it got annoying. Bepannah was fantastic too. I just loved their chemistry. Adi and Zoya gave you all the feels from day 1. He was such a sweetheart to her. And she was so clueless. It's my favourite dynamic 🄰

Maybe in the future though they will make romantic dramas with limited number of episodes so that here is no need to stretch beyond what the material warrants. I always pick a point in the show that I'm happy with and pretend that's where it stopped šŸ˜‚

From the moment he started that forward walking thing while lecture praising her, I was lost. Then they threw in the hand hold and the ID badge, and I don't know anymore. Even if you just pay attention to that body language. The whole vibe of it. The backdrop in which all of the little interactions and moving about his office played out.

She looked shook, and he looked like a conquerer of sorts. So yeah, the bold and italicized sums it up šŸ’Æ

I forgot I was watching starplus and not HBO and started screaming "kiiiisss" to the tv šŸ˜‚

I have one answer to "What has changed?" - He's in looooove šŸ˜‚ Okay, maybe not. But he is really starting to care. And Imlie is waking up to him as something other than her boss. Like oh he's a dude too.

The precap with Malini is so well-timed:

Although I can't say for sure what he will say to Malini, I know for sure he will not go along with her plans because (a) he is top dog in his world and (b) Imlie is off-bounds to others for him now. I think maybe that's what today's scene was supposed to communicate to us, Imlie's growing importance to him and why he will react the way he will to meeting Imlie's enemy.

Bold 1 - ā˜ŗļøHopefully it's only up and ahead from here. I know she's broken from her previous/current relationship and it may take time to accept Aryan as a romantic interest any time soon, but his honest support for her in her professional journey will help speed it up a tad bit. Especially the whole contrast with Aditya. Where she expected support from Adi in her professional endeavors, cheers on her small victories and celebrations on her big ones, she's only got pain instead of it all. He was the man she loved, who she was married to, who was supposed to fuel her dreams. Aryan on the other hand is no one to her. First he was a stranger, then he became her boss and helped her with the house situation but it ended there. There was no personal connection or any obligation arising out of it. Yet, he cheered her first success and celebrated the second by rewarding her. And when she tried to belittle herself in the process of defending Adi, Aryan ensured he was loud and clear that she got what she did purely on merit. Period. Whereas, Adi had painfully crushed the happiness out of her victories by his harsh words. That was a painful scene to watch where she was trying to console him after his demotion announcement and he was insistent on reading it wrongly, intentionally.

Bold 2 - I like the sound of it.

Thank you..

Aryan is yet again giving a life lesson to Imlie..Yes, he is right Imlie has sirf breakup hua hai, it is not the end of the world..True it will be hard for Imlie, but she should take it with a pinch of salt and move on..Not for others, not for a new relationship, but for herself..
