What is the bread and butter of old tv actors who are jobless? - Page 3

No he did a lot of serials in mid 2000s but he was not popular among masses except for kids. Only kids loved him as Hatim. His other shows did not do well. I remember he did some episodes of CID and few episodics in horror shows like Ssh Koi Hai and Aahat. But no show ever got him success like Haatim.

I remember his Hatim and another show he did which was a family drama - he had a silk making company (I think) and had to let go of it and bcm bankrupt cause one day his son saw how moths die for silk making and was upset and he wanted to find alternative way to make silk.

He also played this character in that show on Sony called Yeh Meri Life Hai.

Was the silk bit a part of a show or did that happen to the actor ? Real silk is awful when you think about how it gets here.

i was very young then so memory is hazy- bt the story went like he was big garment/silk manufacturer. one day his kid visits factory and sees how they kill moths so he is traumatized, hence the dad decides they will not kill moth for silk and do something new. they lose house factory business everything and yet the dad didnt give up on alternate silk. dunno what happened in the end, i still remember the title song😆

He's been working pretty consistently actually, averaging 1 show a year and is currently in one too.
