It's pains me that Animal Cruelty is still prevalent. People can be inhumane. 💔

Hats off to John for putting the spotlight on the topic. We need more people like him ❤️

Kindness to animals is well and good. But it shouldn't be at the expense of humans. Maneka' Gandhi's cavalier remark about a woman mauled to death by street dogs comes to mind. Street dogs have become more feral and their number have to be controlled. And lack of proper waste management comes to mind. I know doctors who have witnessed rabies patients in their death throes and are still harrowed by it. And these are people who witness death and accident victims in various forms daily and are more or less inured to it. IMO the worst offenders towards animal cruelty are pet owners who mutilate pets or abandon sick pets or when they shift houses or upgrade to a foreign breed. As for John I know that he sincerely cares deeply about animals and not just jump into the PETA bandwagon. But the performance in KBC is some of his best acting.

Best acting? I thought he was hyper or was acting very weird on kbc🤔

Could be that they are all been given the answers to the questions and he was trying to hint at that

I can’t watch the video as the uploader hasn’t made it available in my country. But I’m glad I can’t see it. My biggest weakness is watching any content related to animal cruelty. I won’t even watch a movie if I know that the dog or cat gets killed. Makes me sick to the stomach knowing that there are psychopaths out there who intentionally harm or neglect these beautiful animals. 🥺

Bless John Abraham for the heart that he has. ❤️

It's not available in my country either.

Glad to know that John is an advocate of ethical treatment of animals and does his bit on the ground.

Animal cruelty makes me recoil too. I have memories from when I was little, there was this classmate of mine who used to enjoy kicking dogs and stomp on injured birds, watch bugs suffer, etc. Pretty sure he's a fully grown psychopath hiding in plain sight now. People who mistreat animals who can't strike back are the lowest scum on earth.

Hmm it's so over the top and fake-ish that it's disrespectful. The editing and the background music makes it p()rnographic . But anyway ,love the message and it's nice of him to be talking about this. If you spend time at an animal shelter you 'll know for sure how disgusting humans are . We really are the worst species to have walked the earth . I've witnessed some awful things myself but the worst part was being patronised and laughed at by someone when I shared it. Being treated like a sentimental idiot .

Even people who are kind to cute animals like dogs cats rabbits etc can shock you with strange comments about other animals that aren't supposed to be cute. Like elaborate plans to torture mice or snakes etc under the excuse of killing them for safety or trapping lizards in boxes and setting them on fire.

There are so many 'pet' monkey channels on YouTube . Baby monkeys that are barely a few weeks old in diapers and clothes made to walk on their hind legs . Monkeys being teased with treats and beaten for trying to eat those. Being left alone outside during a thunderstorm so that the viewers can see it crying. Being left with nasty cats or dogs that drag them all over the yard. The comments under those are disgusting. And there's a disturbing pedo sub text in many of these videos. The titles are openly sadistic. Reporting these makes no difference because YouTube doesn't really care.

I feel the same when I tried watching documentaries on animal cruelty. I just can’t see an animal in pain. I was a hardcore non vegetarian. It’s been 13 years since I turned vegetarian. I am trying to go on plant based diet considering the dairy industry cruelty. I also volunteer with local animal rescue groups. Just trying my bit. People calling out John’s emotional outbursts as over acting really need to get a life & stop being so heartless. John has been trying to do alot for animal welfare. He doesn’t deserve to be bashed.

I don't understand some people on this forum who leave bitchy remarks about other posters just because they happen to disagree with them on their favourite actor or something other subject. I'd say they are the ones who need to grow up and get a life. If somebody ,like myself for example, feels John was overdoing it (probably told to do so by the makers of the show) they can say it . And it's not ' bashing. ' ; it's an observation. It doesn't take away from any of the wonderful work he has been doing for the cause. It's lovely that you are contributing in your own way, but you don't get to call others heartless for commenting on an actor's behaviour on a show with tacky promos .
