Why are some of Hrithik's fans against Suzanne?

I genuinely feel they have a great connection even after divorce. They genuinely respect and care for one another. They take their co-parenting duties seriously.

However, I have noticed Hrithik's fans have always been against Suzanne. What is the reason behind that?

I don't identify with those fans. I love Hrithik, but I like Suzanne also. She seems like a genuinely nice, sweet person.

She is probably sweet in a way but I found her to be very hollow and pretentious. Watched this video about her 'work'. It was unbearable. Well it's nice that they get along well even after divorce; the kids must love that.

Two main reasons post divorce

One is the societal tendency to blame someone for a divorce. Since fans are not going to blame their beloved celeb, they blame the other person in the equation.

Secondly, fans feel protective about their favorite and dislike people who hurt them. Hrithik was in an emotional place before he and Suzanne became co-parenting friends.

Pre-divorce - it could be the tendency to believe no one is good enough for your fav.

Those fans aren't thinking about her personality or about circumstances where marriages don't work or about how great they are at co-parenting - they're just considering her actions.

Before, they disliked her because she was the one who asked for divorce and "how can you ask for divorce from Hrithik?". Plus, like RTH rightly said, Hrithik seemed pretty tormented for a significant while after 2013, so fans would blame Sussanne as the person who's at the root of Hrithik's turmoil since they obviously won't blame him. Didn't help that the divorce sparked the rumours about Kangana, the woman who made his life hell for a while.

But currently, it's because "how can you choose Arslan over someone like Hrithik"

It goes beyond just the divorce; there are gripes dating back to the early 2000s when they got married in the first place.
