Everyone understood a bit of him but never made the effort to do it fully.
Your write up made me realize one thing. Shrishti kept on pushing Preeta towards Karan after their first marriage even after the way he treated her so badly.
Preeta did the exact same thing. Even after knowing Sherlyn’s past, she kept pushing Rishabh towards him.
The only truth Preeta told about Sherlyn was the EMA. Nothing about the way she physically harmed people or wanted to kill Mahesh.
She should have come clean about everything and then tried to convince him about Sherlyn’s goodness.
Would Rishabh have developed these feelings for Sherlyn, No.
Even now all he knows is Prithlyn wanted revenge and hence the marriage to him and Krithika. He still has no clue about the physical harm inflicted on his family by them.
In my opinion Rishabh was betrayed by Preeta more than anyone else.
Did Preeta ever tell Karan about Prithlyn’s involvement in Mahesh’s accident or then trying to kill him?
