Don’t blame Akshu for not declaring her love

Okay my first post here…:I watched YRKKH over the years on and off so I kind of know what this show was like and what it has become.

I feel when it comes to Akshu, I don’t blame her for not declaring her love for Abhi. I know we are all rooting for Abhira but please if we keep our emotions aside, Abhi comes across a very toxic and possessive lover. He met Akshu two weeks ago and is already being extremely possessive and overbearing. Akshu might be in love with him but let her live with those feelings and fully realize them before you push those words out of her.

A love needs time and patience to grow. Maybe Akshu going away is going to give them the time to fully realize how they feel.

I would want Akshu to go a different city, Abhi going there as well and they actually spending time and bonding and actually getting to know each other.

The show originally worked because it was how Akshara and Naitik got married and overtime came to fall in love and get to each other and grow together as people and a couple.

Even Naira and Karthik actually bonded with each other before Karthik fell for Naira.

+1 to everything you said ans I hope after this rejection, Abhi tries to understand and realise his mistake not become vengeful and cold-hearted but alas! I guess he would hold it against Akshu and might blame her for her so called betrayal

Hey, totally agree with you. As much as I loved how easily they fell for each other, they are still floating on the surface. They still don't know a LOT about each other for them to truly feel the heartbreak and miss the other that deeply. and I do feel that Akshu going away was a much needed element in the show. Sometimes distance does wonders and can be the root cause of bringing the leads closer.

And nope, I don't blame akshu at all. As a matter of fact, I would have chosen my sister over a guy I have known for only 2 weeks.. And given the situation and Akshu's motto "Family mere liye sab kuch hai" , it only makes sense even more. Sometimes though I did wish that Akshu confessed her love to him privately and also made it clear that the tight spot she is in will only push themselves away from each other - at least no misunderstanding would have happened from Abhi's side, but it's an ITV show and obviously things are not gonna be as simple otherwise there won't be any drama, So I get that too.

Overall, I'm actually looking forward to the upcoming track and see how Abhi's character grows from now on.

The thing is, Abhi never gave Akshu the chance to express her feelings.

he made some assumptions and landed at her house with a rishta and then when that went wrong, instead of talking to her ALONE like any sane person will, he took her to HIS house with HIS family asking her to confess. Akshu has a lot of insecurities and baggage and she suffers from severe anxiety (which Abhi is well aware of) and he did that to her? I’ll be livid if I was Akshu.
