Acting alone!!

Shahid breathed life into Kabir Singh!! That edgy rawness Shahid brought on screen was something else.

Otherwise, there was no chance that a movie based on such a problematic premise with the titular character toxic to power infinity would have become such a huge hit.

Shahid's phenomenal performance, and after that the music.

The storyline was not only regressive/problematic but also totally whack in general, honestly looked like a something an angsty 13 year old would write after school on Wattpad, and that too with minimum effort lmao.

Vijay's acting was good in the original one too

Nothing in the movie.

But I get to know about some people in my life. I distanced quietly from those who are okay with this movie. I can't separate art from life.

I could not sit through this entire film. Never completed it.

I feel music was what first drew people to the film. They found Kiara to be a fresh face as well. They also liked Shahid's acting after they watched the film.

I found his character too repulsive and weird to appreciate his acting chops. Sorry. But this is just my personal opinion.
