Exactly! I find it odd how they write P when it comes to the actual romance part of their marriage. I understood it in the beginning - she never had that with anyone. So it makes sense to show her a bit reserved. But these two have been sleeping next to each other, half dressed, for MONTHS. She has no issues touching R when he's shirtless, no issues hugging him, no issues trying to seduce him. ... But when he leans in for a kiss, they make her say nahi? AGAIN? Eh? NOW of ALL times?? Talk about illogical, bad, writing.
No wonder the show never surpassed certain #s - look at the scenes they're writing for the lead couple who have been not only married for more than half a year, but have also been in LOVE for most of that time.
Mera dil jal raha hai at how bad all this sounds. No logic at all. Why didn't they show them consummate for all these months. Look we have 5 episodes left with no hopes or expectations that a blurred shadow con bhi milega.

My thing is, even if they want her to be all sanskari and innocent, they've shown so many times that she's not!
Also, they could've easily had her just faked her nahi in that sly way (that I described) - it still would've killed time so they wouldn't have to show anything more than what they did but it would be a lot less weird.
Agree with what you said about her being sly in a flirty way. Not sure why ITV has to show its FLs as special unicorns who are devoid of any needs or desires or feelings that are very normal to have for a romantic partner. The OG Pallavi was never naïve (something I always found really refreshing) and that's why this idea of her being clueless (or wanting to make a move only for procreation) never sits well with me.
They could've done a better job with this scene. Even that scene where Raghav is about to kiss P has continuity glitch (in one shot he is leaning on one side and in the next he is leaning the opposite way and it goes on like that). Like Ren, I'm bhool bhooling everything and trying to enjoy whatever we get but these things upset me because we've seen better in this very show.
