To simply put it, you don't see this kind of abuse in regional shows. There is some amount of it but not to the extent we see in PS.

All the 3 bahus get insulted on a daily basis in this show and no one including the bahus stand up to her. Rishita is trying but not going anywhere with it.

Suman did not hesitate to throw water at Dhara thought she is pregnant, when Shiva and Raavi came back from the court and the drama happened in the middle of the street.

When Dhara told Disha'a parents about Pandya parivar and Shiva and Suman, she was absolutely right about them

I haven’t seen so much like this in other Sitara shows either- I have followed for a bit after IPPKND- Qubool Hai (Zoya Asad)- that was Zee TV I think, Ye Hai Mohabatein, Ishqbaaz, Diya aur Baati etc.

All these have MIL- DIL relationships- QH tho- MIL was the cutest - they were friends. YHB, IB,DaB- all of these had strong MIL- DiL conflicts but none were so abusive . In DaB they actually show the MIL as coming from a ultra conservative background but even though she would yell and scream she wasnt this abusive.

That’s why Inwas horrified at the MIL in Pavithra Rishta that someone has posted because in all my ITV watching I hadn’t seen that sample

I guess what I mean to say is PS is unique in this regard

Rishita wanted to play antakshari when the lights were still off, Dev supported her as well and Suman asked her to keep quiet.🤣

"aadhe ghante me sagayi hai, tumhe abhi antakshari khel na hai"

Right after this dialogue, the lights came back on😆

When it’s shown that Raavi has the ring: “ Tho iska matlab hai ki ye Chipkali ye sagayi nahi chahthi”- UhDUH… she had to do this to make him understand this?

May be everytime she is in front of him, his brain seizes to work. 🙄All the time she’s screaming and shouting at him he doesn’t hear a thing - just keeps thinking how gorgeous she is

MStrack- That would be awesome - I can see it now- Suman telling him to say goodbye to her or leave her or whatever and he walking in slow motion towards Suman getting the MS and instead of dropping it in kuan (sorry folks ab kuan has played such an important role- they can’t let go of him/ her as easily as they did Disha) …as Suman wants him to do… he walks back to Raavi and puts it on her - in defiance of the apron strings that are freaking choking him.

Btw- on totally an aside I hope an Instagram acct is created for PS ke Kuan and it is nominated for best supporting actor/ actress role

What was 7 phera? That is legal, spiritual, emotional kasam/ vows to love & respect, of togetherness in thick & thin!

He didn’t say anything when his maa took Mangalsutra.

but is mumbling when ring is missing.

I am sure viewers who have watched this show regularly, will not be able to relate to any phuski whitewash if shiva.

The writers are not capable of handling such stuff carefully, I really hope they refrain from any 3rd angles in shivi track atleast until they develop a strong bond of understanding, trust, respect

In ballika vadhu also daadi sa was very toxic initially. She wanted 9-10 yr old Anandi to behave like a perfect DIL, tortured her, always supported her sons and grandsons even when they were wrong. But she was redeemed later on. She supported Anandi when Jagya left her for another woman, supported her education , helped her in getting divorced, tried her best for Anandi's second marriage. Because of her effeorts only Anandi got married to Shiv .That show was also produced by sphere origins. But here I don't think Suman can be redeemed now. Even maami is better than her. Atleast maami never tries to emotionally black mail her daughters

Not exactly a third angle but a positive influence is what I want. He can make her understand how toxic is this relationship going and help her in becoming independant. Raavi wants to be independant but I'm not seeing any efforts on that. I want to see her grow and overcome this toxic environment. And I said the photo-waala cuz he was cute and I wanna see him.😳

But you're right. PS doesn't know to handle these types of tracks.😆

Mami goes towards Raavi. Suman asks her to hug and cry at Raavi's fate. Mami says why should I cry, I am very happy that my daughter is finally separated from this junglee, mein uske liye Raajkumar dhoond ke le aaoongi

That;s when Suman's words are even nastier

"jaise tune Anita ke liye doonda, Dev,Shiva itne chote the jab teh Anita mandap chodke bhaag gayi thi, abb donon ka shaadi bhi ho chukka, yeh kuwari bait hai ghar pe, dekh lena, Raavi ka bhi yahi haal hoga, ladka doondna tumhari bas ki baat nahi, mujhe bol mein doondthi hoon donon ke liye ladka, jaise meine Shiva ke liye ek acchi ladki doond li"
