IMO the Goenkas are largely responsible for the way Arohi and Akshu's relationship has turned out. Since they were children the family has been papering over the cracks in their relationship and leaving it up to a (then very young) Akshara to feel the responsibility of bridging the gap and placating her sister.

When children are being unreasonable or learning the wrong lessons or behaving badly, you teach them the error of their ways until you're sure they've learned that lesson. You don't just wave your hands about ineffectually and say "oh bas karo tum dono, why can't we all just get aloooooong?" 🤔 They grumble about Arohi's behaviour towards Akshu behind her back, but somehow are terrified of saying so to her face.

We treat children equally, but not the same. If one child needs more lessons in maths, for example, we don't also send the other child to tuition to make everything "equal". A basic example but the same principle largely applies.

Arohi is equally loved by the family, for sure and as it should be, but her treatment of Akshara over the years has gone pretty much unchallenged by the elders in the family, other than token "hush nows". No wonder she thinks she can say anything she wants without reproach. It's supremely unfair and a huge burden on Akshu to have to be the only one constantly trying to mend that relationship.

Who else will we learn from but our parents. But the Goenkas by never correcting Arohi are doing her a disservice because she thinks she and Akshu are equally right or wrong in this fight. And Akshu things she is wrong because that is what her family has told her.

yes but we can’t compare the goenkas to real life parents or itv to real life…lol 😂…I’m sure your parents are far more sensible than those Ridiculous Goenkas..🤷🏻‍♀️.everything is so outrageous in these shows…this whole engagement drama has been such a circus…🤦🏻‍♀️…

yes that’s our real life logic,..but yrkkh has been one of the most ridiculous shows in itv…the characters are so stupid…it’s unbelievable…you know k dadi once put a conch under naira and karthiks bed so naira would conceive a boy child..and she gut surekha to steal that conch from the singhanias house…like really..that’s just one stupid thing I saw on this show..there’s hundreds more 🤦🏻‍♀️

suhasini Goenka aka k dadi…has done some of the most stupid things I’ve seen on this show…and now she’s also partly responsible for this big mess…if she had let abhimanyu speak the other day and said who he wants to marry this chaos would have been prevented … But she was so excited as if he was proposing to her ..lol 😂….and didn’t give the poor guy a chance to Speak properly 🤦🏻‍♀️

It would have been amazing if she was this excited during Kartik and Naira’s wedding but no she was a villain back then, wonder what happened to all her ghamand and bitterness. Old Dadi would definitely take a stand for her granddaughters and actually try to understand Abhimanyu and let him speak instead of rushing everything.

I loved how you said it yaar, especially shaadi Karo dono, that too the the same guy dono. They are equal to them in every way right, might as well get them married to the same guy too, to make sure everyone got how equal they treat their daughters🤣

And I don’t think that is equally treating Akshu right. Arohi gets away with everything but Akshu has to sacrifice everything for Arohi’s happiness, that’s not equality. Are they all scared of Arohi.
