I'm sorry, which doctor on finally getting a degree, finally getting that certificate, that success, that will to save lives, wants to get married or in better words, waste it behind a guy?

Do the show makers know how hard it is to pass in MBBS, and that too topping in it?

I know it requires a certain level of smart genes, but it also requires dedication, hard work, sleepless nights and immense self esteem to do it which Arohi has, considering she cleared it.

And what happened?

Instead of she starting to work, maybe start a clinic, save lives, she attempts to kill herself? For a guy? Whom she knows since two days?

Like, come on, such a slap in the face for independent women.

Is that how they depict career oriented women?

Please, love is legit nothing for such people. This is all so stupid.

Areeee wait for the episode.... It was suicide or it was an accident, we have to find out. From the IV and what Karishma said, it looked like an accident.

Not just suicide, I'm against the idea of her wasting it all behind a guy. It just doesn't sits right.

Yeh Dr. Delusional, sorry I mean, Dr. Arohi Goenka karti hai.

She didn't want to become a doctor to save lives. She wanted to become a doctor because it's one of the best professions out there and they're esteemed highly in society. Upar se, Goenka family mein yeh PEHLI doctor hai toh yahan bhi isne baazi jeet li. 😎

Aur yeh state topper kahan hai, woh toh Abhimanyu Birla hai. Ab usse phir se exams karwane se rahi so that she can beat his record. The only other way to beat him is to marry him. Cuz you know, logic.

Abhi is the best, Birlas are the best, Birla hospital is the best, Arohi khud ko best samajhti hai, so you know, sab kuch best, BEST, BEST hoga! 😃

(Serious answer: Arohi has become a fcking joke and I have no hopes from her as a redeemable character.)

You're right. I'm just fooling myself by trying to find logic in ITV and a little hope in Arohi.

It's just that I love sisterly bonds and it breaks my heart to see two sisters being time and again twisted for TRP by dragging the same plot.

P.s. True, Arohi is self centred and wants to be No.1 in everything, but her will and determination is commendable ngl. Akshara needs to grow a spine sooner than ever now.

Oh, I totally get this!

There was SO much potential in both the girls and they could have still shown this confusion in love, but they just had to give these relationships some time to breathe and grow. But because they fast tracked everything so much, they did at the cost of Arohi's character. Abhi is already sorted in who he is and his career; Akshara is constantly harping on about her quest for self-identity; that left Arohi who should have followed her ambitious path in wanting to be the best doctor/surgeon or whatever. They could have shown her being mentored by HV and falling in line with his mentality, but whilst interning under Abhi, her perspectives could have been challenged.

In terms of personal relations, even then, there have been glimmers of hope for Arohi genuinely bonding with Akshara in a well and meaningful way. She's not opposed to it. It's just that whatever, dark and self-pitying mentality she has going on keeps getting in the way of her achieving that relationship.

But nahi, usse toh pura psycho bana ke chor rakha hai.

Agreed! Yaar, I can't tell you how much I would have LOVED to see Arohi break the glass ceiling in the Birla hospital. Her surpassing the Birla men at their own hospital, forcing them to acknowledge her contributions, and accrediting her for achievements in the media and in front of the whole world would have been AMAZING to witness! She could have been a true inspiration for SO many young girls out there.

Muh ki baat cheen lii... damn if only tv shows were given fixed contract time instead of TRPS... we'd have fun shows with proper story and good character development...

Very soon everyone's gonna switch it to web series and OTT and I really hope there's no TRP thing ever.

Career and success has nothing to do with mental condition. There are so many people who are very successful career wise but still commit suicide. Arohi has a problem. She feels she isn't loved or always comes second. She is jealous of Akshara that she gets everything. Nothing is more important for her than hating on her sister even not her career. Plus she actually dreamed about meeting Abhi before even the trip. It's like Akshu broke her dream again.

We've been saying that for a while now but unfortunately, I don't see ITV going away anytime soon. Web series may be higher in terms of production value and quality of writing, ITV gives actors the daily recognition, the rabid fanbase and overall more money.

I mean, look at the Maiyya shows. Bin dimaag wale shows mein itne kamaal ke actors kaam kar re hai. Why? Because they're paid amazingly well for it, woh bhi per episode.

And though there might not be a TRP system for OTT, rating metrics are taken into consideration by streaming platforms in terms of deciding whether or not to pull off a show or keep it running.

And that's how it should be. There has to be some kind of rating right. There's pro and cons there too but content is atleast not dragged. And coming to ITV, probably by this generation atleast because my siblings cousins don't watch tv serials at all. We don't even have cable TV, everything is the internet for us.The last of them is my mother (she leaves midway of any dragged or boring ITV show) and some of us, including me.

The next gen is definitely not gonna waste their time here. So probably more 10-20 years give or take.
