And that's how it should be. There has to be some kind of rating right. There's pro and cons there too but content is atleast not dragged. And coming to ITV, probably by this generation atleast because my siblings cousins don't watch tv serials at all. We don't even have cable TV, everything is the internet for us.The last of them is my mother (she leaves midway of any dragged or boring ITV show) and some of us, including me.
The next gen is definitely not gonna waste their time here. So probably more 10-20 years give or take.

Formatting of shows is the first thing that needs to change. Weekly episodes consisting of short seasons, crisp and tight scripts that are written well before production is due to start are just some of the few key factors that need to change ASAP.

Give or take 10 years ago, we used to subscribe to almost all the channels as there used to be a wide array of shows to watch from. But now we only have a few and even those we barely watch as there's hardly anything good on. Content wise, there's barely anything left on ITV.

2
