Babita had NO right!...

Um...since I don't really see any protests going up against the blatant display of domestic violence combined with public humiliation...I thought I would do a little rant here.

Babita really had no right to hit Meet. For one, she didn't even know the whole story and took action based on assumptions. That in itself is a crime to me. And hurting Meet's self-respect by doing it publicly just took it up another notch. Shame on the makers for even having such a scene on ITV, where it could affect the perceptions of children (seeing as it is a family show) and where it could act as a trigger due to the lack of warning before the airing of the episode. I feel like this should be pointed out to the CVs or makers or producers or whoever on social media.

Thank you for this post dear. Absolutely aptly placed. We have flagged it in all our episode discussion threads that we do not approve of her behaviour now or right after marriage when she flung that plate at her. Social media outrage is also there on Twitter where various members have pointed out to SSP that they need to tone down such scenes.

Strongly agree with you👍🏼

But I know why they keep these scenes....I have seen immj2 before this and I can't even tell you the ways they discovered to torture their FL just to get trps and ironically trps increased.🙄

So till the time this stupid system to calculate trps will change or the people who contribute in present trp system will not change their mindset this sh*t will go on and on.

Literally SSP is only production house who keep this crap to the minimum in their shows, now imagine the crap which would be going on in other shows.

Seriously this thing need to chnage, strongly condemn this kachra which they show just for the sake of trps and people even accept it and reward it.

sad part is .. it is never addressed in the show.. and now she has gone one level up… she has extended this courtesy to her elder daughter in law as well.. well no physical violence but mental and emotional trauma that she is putting her through is so demeaning and uncalled for.. she has no brain which is infact proudly declared by Manushi yesterday… and I couldn’t agree more …

Why just stop at Babita even Raj to an extent is doing the exact same thing mental and emotional abuse like blackmailing sunaina to marry again and then not telling her about her estranged husband returning asking her to stay in an illegal marriage.

I'm hating all this currently as an independent person who has been taught to think on my own I'm really not happy about this regressive scenario that is going on in the show currently.

I'm honestly telling you manushi and the meet² dynamics is currently so far away in my mind this Sunaina situation and the family's treatment of it is disappointing me heavily.

Which is why I had declared that Babita deserves someone like Manushi in her life a few posts ago (can't remember which thread it was)...someone who's choices keep changing according to her greed and someone who can manipulate an arrogant woman like Babita easily...I kinda understand the leverage given to Babita tho...nobody really calls her out on her behaviour except her own son (I saw this happen only once on the screen) and her husband (who's problematic himself considering he's got the whole art of emotional manipulation down to a T)..So yeah, she commands a bit too much power..more than I am comfortable with...

Both Raj and Babita enjoy the amount of control they have on their children's lives and family affairs a bit too much...so much so that it is warranted for them to react badly when they feel like they're losing it...

Now, I know as parents, they have the right to have an opinion in their children's lives and perhaps even take decisions on their behalf to some extent.. but R and B take this line of thought to the next level through their actions...sometimes even crossing that fine line between balance and toxicity...

Well...I ain't no psychologist so my analysis will have to end here...But I do recommend an in-depth character analysis by someone who has learned psychology or just human behaviour in general...

Babs definitely deserve Manushi. Sunaina and Meet are too good for Babs and Masoom, but main a ummeed chod di unn see. I understand dramatic OTT chillanay wali saas brings trp so be it. I have made peace with the idea that I will like some scenes of Babs and I will hate others.

Honestly, Meets and Sutej are the only lovable characters now. Other side characters are also nice. I loved the gift discussion scene of MA, Esha and Chachi. Aur aisa positive family scenes milay toh accha hain

Nikki and I was discussing same last night

Raj is weakest and babita is worst. Half serial they have turned in to typical ITV Indian politics

Thoda logic and legality rakhte. Forced marriage kiya so ab sunaina should take a stand and say tej is back second marriage null and void tej and I are not divorced so I am still his legally wedded

Wife . I do not need your permission to stay with my husband total stupid and unnecessary turns and even kar diye
