Love when you are the lead pair v/s kabab mei haddi?

I do not know whether this is allowed but this is a slight comparison between YRKKH & GHKKM.. Only slight

In the first one, the 2 day pyaar is really appreciated, mentioned as something so beautiful and pure(And many agree that it was suuuper rushed to save TRPs)

But in the second, the 2 day pyaar is made fun of, dubbed as yoga wala pyaar...etc.. almost childish.

Isn't it interesting that the same product has two different reactions because of the presentation.

It is always the same in entertainment. If in a movie, a man stalks a girl, it depends on the man for the audience to decide if the act was heroic or villainy. If the hero does it, then we can expect some quirky bgm ,cute nok-joks and picturesque shots of the couple, but with the villain we get loud eerie bgm, misogynist dialogues and semi creepy shots of the couple.

Coming back to the point, When in yesterday's episode Abhi asked Arohi if he ever gave any signal to her that he is in love... I was screaming at the screen saying, "Aree!! Par tumne actually kisiko bola hai.. apne dil ki baat? neil bro ko toh namm bata deta... dono mei se kisi ko bhi toh clue nahi mila tha?"

But, as this 2 day love story is between the lead pair, many are ready to forgive the rushed pace of all the arc. When the same 2 day love is given way too importance by the not-lead pair, then they are reminded that, the whole thing was too childish.. etc.etc.

Another question I have is, why would the TRPs decrease if they showed an office romance between the 3. Is shadi the only way to gain more TRPs?

TRPs are a mystery to me sometimes.

I think we all want sensible shows with some use of logic but sometimes that just doesn't translate to those watching on the other side who decides to turn on the channel and leave it there during the whole show.

I'm also an outsider. I'm not even Indian so not sure what dynamics are going on in a typical household that explains all of this. I'm an ABC (American born Chinese, well I'm Taiwanese) Been watching Indian TV serials on and off for years.

All I've ever seen is saas bahu drama, evil vamp who wants to destroy the female lead, female lead always sacrificing herself, and divorce drama
