KS ka background dikh raha hai, ab Monday se samajh aa jayega ki kuch aur liya hai ya nahi.
But basically the story was that Kabir and Preetu fall in love, he is this dominating kind of personality and very violent also. After they've been together for some years, Kabir goes to Preeti's house and her father catches them kissing on the terrace. Preeti's father kicks him out and Kabir tells her angrily that you make up your mind or forget about me. That's when he slaps her 🤢
Ab Kabir ke bhai ki shaadi chal rahi hai, Preeti ka bhi rishta tay ho gaya hai kahi aur. Kabir gets angry and in that anger he takes drugs and drinks like crazy so he is unconscious for 24 hours. Turns out Preeti did chose him but since he was unconscious, toh she was forced to get married to the guy her family chose.
Kabir then moves to Mumbai and becomes a full on alcoholic and drug addict.
Second half se toh I doubt koi inspiration li hogi 😆
And the other show I was talking about, Ishq Hai, here are the promos. See the hero's outfit and demeanour. Ranveer seems to be a bit more aggressive than Shahzaib, that's the only difference I felt:

I don't think it will. ITV's toxic portrayal of males is more comical these days and weridly exaggerated in the weird sense. They know their audience and with everything going on these days, I doubt they'll show the drugs part. They might show Ranveer becoming an alcoholic.
Because fo this only, the background of the characters seems to be from Kabir Singh but the character sketch seems to be from Deewangi and Ishq Hai. That's why I posted the teasers here, for you to get an idea. 😆

I’m more worried about the violence aspect 🤔 alcohol will just be RK 2.0 🤣
If I’d have to pick between the two I’d choose deewangi 😆 I did not get a good impression of ishq hai from online reviews and plot summary

Thappad and all nahi dikhayenge, I don't think so.
RK 2.0 lol RK was another crack piece 🤣 Abhay was the best ❤️
Deewangi was the superior show in terms of screenplay, budget and script, but Ishq Hai wasn't a critics' show.
It was massy and tbh the first half was better executed without too much of over-exaggeration (which Pak shows have started to do as they are inspired by Star Plus and Zee).
In fact Deewangi gets quite boring for nearly 10 episodes in the middle but Ishq Hai holds your attention till the very end. We had 7 ATs of Ishq Hai on the Pakistani Show Forum 😆 Ishq Hai does have some serious issues in the second conflict created before the show ends, but it wasn't as bad as the 10 episode drag of Deewangi without Sultan 😆
Both shows have had plotholes but both shows mein the soul was the male lead. Don't go on reviews because there are intellectuals online who only give gyaan 😆
