I completely disagree with your post.

Firstly the complaint about Panchi crying all the time, and not expressing many emotions. Well hun, thats because Panchi isn't given the scope to express more emotions. I mean, if she's asked to cry all the time. That is what she is gonna do.

Secondly, in scenes where she is given scope. She performs brilliantly, or well. Have you seen the court outburst scene, wherecourt confrontation scene, or say her outburst to Milsi before the C-night, or the scene where she breaks down when Inder dies, or how about the cottage scene in Panchmeshwar where she is with Milsi, trying to help him walk, her expressions were brilliant in that scene. Her eyes were inviting and bewitching and she just provides the right amount of expressions, not overdoing it. While she was not perfect, you must admit, she was pretty damn good.

Thirdly, every actor has their off days. Even Shabbir, Sanjeeda and Jay. All of them have had their bad moments. That doesn't mean they're bad actors. Similarly Panchi also has her off moments. And she's under a lot of pressure, her exams are going on, BD's are used to shoot most scenes, so maybe her expressions doesn't come right, because she is relying on pure imagination. Cut her some slack.

Fourthly, I think given Prachi's character, Panchi is perfect for the role. Prachi is not a lecturing Tulsi, she has her own strength, which is basically her amazing strength of purpose and her patience. She is not the type to go scream at people and make a tamasha. No sir. And Panchi portrays that perfectly. So Panchi is perfect for Prachi, because she brings out that patience, that demureness, that innocence, that naivety, that damsel in distressness of Prachi really well.

Fifthly, well if you think Prachi is always hunching like a damsel, then Panchi is doing her job quite well, coz she is supposed to play a damsel. She has been protected by her father and Neev for years, you can't suddenly expect her to become all assertive, do you? Its just realistic.

And I agree with kits, had it not been for Panchi

Mony our jodi MICHI/SHACHI never had any publicity like other jodis we hardly see our jodi out side KYM but even though they had became eyesore to some.
