Definitely the good times the draggy times n the bad times.. This show and holding on to the positivity u ppl bring made the experience much fun i would say..

Why does everyone not seem happy with the epi? I mean generally on social media. I have not watched but from WU thought was decent? How did u all find it?

I actually like the episode - gave the feels that I wanted and honestly the new guy did not impress me much. I instead enjoyed AKT today a lot - reminded me of PD3 days, just the context was terrible (the way they separated was a freaking joke, especially after what she did and then how they met later within the same day, so that was why I say the context was terrible). Him not wanting to let her go and him just wanting her to come back with him, no matter how bad he is - awww my heart went out to him.

Loved the SM and Imlie bit as well - though cheezy as hell (Mitthi as SM was way to hard for me to digest, I just burst out laughing there😆), but a lot of what she said was in line with where they plan to take this forward - with Imlie focusing on herself, after she somewhat felt that she is losing herself in all this sautan drama. See I get that the journey will be with Adi - that is not going to change. But this reset was needed - Imlie needed to understand that while being a good wife and a good bahu, she was losing a bit of herself in all that mess. Her taking herself out of the equation will allow Imlie also to see things in a better light, rather than just reacting to DD's plans - she can now actually focus on her dreams and her relationship with Adi outside of that toxic environment (again, the man is not toxic, but the environment in the T house had become toxic because of DD), which will help them both see the other's POV in a better light.

The Aparna and Adi bit gave me a lot of hope that despite everything, Aparna is going to play a huge role in getting these 2 back together again. Her utter trust that Imlie is the one made for her son and her friend zoining Malini was a freaking delight. Aparna now knows that no matter what happens between Adi & Imlie, unless they are together, either of them will never be truly happy (she just stated it as facts, not to demean Imlie in anyway). The fact that Adi could not get Imlie back hurts both mother and son, and we could see them bond over that so well today. Aaj there was no blame, just Aparna at knowing what brings her son happiness, but her utter helplessness in being unable to get her son said happiness. It was poignant and so sweet, that it truly both broke my heart and made me feel good that finally Adi is getting the support he always wanted from his mother with respect to the most important person in his life.

Just a side note for DD - the woman tries to blow the flame of Adi's vishwas ka diya, and got burnt in teh process - showing that no matter what she tries, she is only going to get hurt in the process.

Baaki Adi was so good today - be it his tashan with the new guy, his utter frustration with his wife, him focusing his efforts on saving the diya because that signified the hope that his wife will come back to him again, and the utter despair in the precap where he is not even able to eat, just like his wife - today's episode proved to me again that while these 2 are away from each other, Adi has neither given up hope nor does he want to admit that it was his actions that have led to this situation. The day he understands that fact, I can promise you, the person responsible for all this will be crucified to the point that they will never be able to look at themselves again

Also we got confirmation from the horse's mouth that he is not going anywhere - JP, you nad I will now really need to see a 4 weeks notice and his exit letter now to really believe if he ever leaves, warna toh by the looks of it, this guy is going to stick around till the end, so we will get a happy ending with both of them as our Adilie.

Oh I am with you on the new guy - he did not impress me either. Even during the scene with the three of them together I preferred watching Adi and Imlie spar rather than see what he was upto - pata nahi, bande ne zyada impress nahi kiya - his character is too much of the nakchada businessman for me to really appreciate any nuances as of now - pata nahi shayad aage jaake he might get better, you never know.

I hope. It seemed so cliches unless they have a twist. Now I know that the trp drop was a Diwali resultant. But I am worried about this week . I hope the new promo works

I had to rewatch the epi to actually gather my thoughts so firstly.. I really (and I am repeating this) am not so impressed with the new guy but any reduced ss from Didi I will take.

aps you r right.. today was akt st apu.. there was that whole pd vibe of adi going after imlie and even then imlie was hurt cos no one in the village wanted to listen to her but her bs came up to be her knight in shining armour ( or so he liked to think) … then she was highlighting the diff between village and city where in city a woman’s voice is heard… today she is in the same boat where no one esp her bs believe her no matter what. So where is the diff in the city and village here she wonders?

then adI coming back to keep the diya going. The whole vishwas to keep the diya and relationship going is now on his shoulders: like then he was willing to Injure his hand but the fire would not go off. It’s his imlies vishwas and it had become his. Throughout the whole convo with apu and then kalini he never left sight of the diya and then he only left are leaving it in sm hands and she protected it from kalini

It’s no coincidence that sm came to imlie though I guess what they were trying to show is that your mother and father is like your baghwan hence it came in meethi form. But sm is watching over both Adilie. She has adopted adI as well and her whole convo to imlie that keep on this path, find yourself and everything will work out cos SM is here. SM is now overseeing her two bachai and that is why nothing Didi says or does is having any effect.

Didi is desperate and she is going to use the new guy ( who she doesn’t know) as a tool for adi insecurities but it will not work cos now adI won’t be jealous but he will be playing what imlie has been doing all this while. Trying to expose someone who can hurt his pyar and she is too innocent to see it. They are cleverly doing all these role reversals and subtly by bringing sm into the equation . She has been the one to bring them together in the beginning and she will be the one to watch over them on their path to reunite.
