This is not acting award. She already has national award for that .This is for her contribution /impact .if she can get Padma then DP/ Kat/Aloo all deserve one

Come to think of it, how did Kangu contribute anything to the industry with her slew of flop movies other than to herself? Padma awards are not acting awards that she should be handed one for her performances. On the top of it she defamed the industry simply by existing with that potty mouth. There seem to be no end to the benefits of bootlicking, clearly!

She has NO civil sense/etiquette.

In approx. past 2 years, she has used Social Media in the worst possible way (hate-mongering).

Despite all that, her receiving Padmashri from the President (regardless of any govt.) is eye-rolling and downright disgusting.

She started doing this since 5 years when the Hrithik fiasco started. This is where she learnt that social media is the best way to keep her relevant, after all she could publicly harass HR a known name and everything was on her side including media. She knew everyone will hear her considering she is a woman and has targeted a known name. HR had his past flings so people naturally blamed him.

HR injured himself so severely by putting up a case that it will haunt his name even after his life ends. One day we all have to die.

Kangu answered your question for you. So let us stop justifying that this was for acting. This was for the actors using their celebrity status to contribute to the society.. That is why Salman Khan, Sanjay Dutt never got any, despite being a senior.Basically this award is nothing but giving an approval to all the garbage that she spewed since the last several years.
