Despite all that, her receiving Padmashri from the President (regardless of any govt.) is eye-rolling and downright disgusting.

Actually it's the other way around. Because kangna won it, mera padmashree aur national awards se bharosa hi uth gaya. Her winning is a black spot on these awards.

I was having a major late night dumb moment there where I ended up mixing Padma and National awards but yes I dont see what Aishu's contribution has been other than looking pretty.
